  1. I remember that soap contest. My sister & I did a carving. I agree with Edward Bernays, it did help Proper & Gamble sell Ivory, just think of all the bars of soap just for the contest. Then your bringing in all that soap examples into people homes, like samples. Ivory always had a fresh soft smell to it. I know my father used it in our bath sinks, before the contest thou. & He used Dove for the showers, which I still use Dove.
