- Real Estate Prices in Japan: Japan experienced a significant real estate bubble in the late 1980s, which burst in the early 1990s. Following this, real estate prices did indeed decline for an extended period, roughly from 1991 to around 2019.
- Demographics: In 1995, the median age in Japan was around 38.4 years. As of 2023, the median age in the United States is approximately 38.5 years.
