Nature Restoration Group Newsletter – Introduction

The release of the first Newsletter for our Nature Restoration Group brings us great joy and satisfaction!  Nature Restoration plans to use this as an easy method to periodically update you on all of the things that are happening with our group. We hope you enjoy it and share it with your friends and family and, of course, anyone searching for an awakening! 

The Start of Nature Restoration

Our group was one of the initial visions of the founders at Prepare For Change. As with any group or organization, until there are people who step up and manifest the vision, not a lot happens. Last Fall this vision was at last seeded and an initial series of discussions began to set the future of the group. After a few volunteer request calls, we formed a foundation of about 10 committed volunteers who are actively creating their own vision and programs they are passionate about.   

Value as a Key Component

As our volunteers step into their manifestation process, Nature Restoration Group is still finalizing the overall Vision and Mission Statements for our organization. These are critical elements for any group and we would like to share some of our general concepts with you in order that you may appreciate and understand the importance and scope of our undertaking. One vital component is the idea of Value. What do you truly value in your life? It seems obvious that almost everyone appreciates Mother Nature and what she provides. We certainly owe her respect for what she is doing. However, in our reliance on her, we often become easily distracted and forget to value her. Looking out at the world at large, we clearly see that she is not appreciated. Therefore, putting emphasis on what each one of us truly values is therefore extremely important when we take action out in the world. Imagine how exceptional our existence would be if the way we behaved and interacted was purely based on the level of our commitment to our value system.

Vision

We surveyed our potential volunteers to find out what their vision for the Earth is. From the surveys we received, several key words stood out. These words were:

HARMONY; HUB; STEWARDS; DIVINE PLAN; NATURE; EDUCATION. 

As a result, we plan on developing our vision statement with these key words and ideas in mind. Likewise, we welcome your input.

Organization

We are extremely excited to already have volunteers actively working with us from around the globe.  As we envision becoming an open source platform for supporting all aspects of Nature, all beings are welcome.  Our current members reside in Canada, the USA, India, France, and Bosnia. Based on their interests, our group is currently working on the following projects:

1) Compassionate Communication
2) The 13 month Moon Calendar
3) Natural Wellness
4) MeWe Social Website
5) Nature Restoration Vision Statement

The plan is to build an organic foundation that blossoms into an overlapping framework that shares and collaborates seamlessly with each other.
