Toyota CEO: “This New Engine Will Destroy The Entire EV Industry!”

Electric vehicles (EVs) are often marketed as the ultimate solution to save the planet, but as a well-informed reader of Prepare For Change, you’re aware that EVs may not be as environmentally friendly as they claim to be.

Toyota has taken a different approach by working on a hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engine. While there are considerable technical challenges to using hydrogen directly, most hydrogen-powered vehicles to date have used hydrogen fuel cells that generate electricity. However, burning hydrogen offers greater efficiency, and its only byproducts are heat, sound, and water. This could potentially create a true circular economy, where water is converted back into water.

When you examine power density charts, you’ll notice that hydrogen, when utilized effectively, significantly outperforms its competitors.

Additionally, for those who appreciate the traditional sound of a combustion engine, this technology offers the best of both worlds: the familiar sound and a clean energy source. By eliminating environmentally harmful batteries and adopting hydrogen cell technology, we could facilitate a smoother transition to greener transportation.

Hopefully we’ll be seeing more emphasis on hydrogen products in the coming years, as lithium ion batteries are not going to be the replacement for cars, there simply isn’t enough material to replace all vehicles with such a battery.
