UK’s Cash Strapped NHS Wastes Money Asking Old People If They’re Gender Fluid

The UK’s National Health service is spending inordinate amounts of money on asking patients, mostly elderly people, what gender they identify as.

The British public has had it drilled into them repeatedly for years that the NHS is on the brink of collapse due to underfunding, yet its resources for pushing THE MESSAGE seem to be endless.

The Telegraph reports that The Royal Brompton, operated by Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Trust has instituted a digital form on its system that invites patients to choose from multiple genders including “Agender, Another gender not listed here, Choose not to disclose, Demiboy, Demigirl, Female, Gender fluid, Male, Non-binary, Other, Questioning, Transgender male or Transgender female.”

Oncologist professor Karol Sikora told The Telegraph that after a minor operation doctors asked him to identify his gender, even though it “had nothing to do with my sexual orientation.”

“It’s not my goolies that were operated on,” the professor urged, adding that it is “mainly elderly Brits given this sort of stuff that only applies to a tiny minority.”

“As predominantly older people are the ones who go to outpatient clinics, little old ladies in Clacton are getting that to fill in. It’s ridiculous that we’re spending money on this,” he further asserted.

Maya Forstater, executive director of the campaign group Sex Matters added “These kinds of forms are off-putting for many people. It is the opposite of inclusion to make things hard to understand. Hospitals should be clear what sex everybody is and stop making patients and healthcare professionals deal with this nonsense.”

In order to get treatment on the NHS patients normally have to wait months, if not years. Funds appear to be being poured into revamping systems and materials to make them gender neutral, however:
