As we move through the Lion’s Gate Portal—an energetic alignment that peaks on 8/8—many are noticing strange and subtle shifts. Technology is acting up. People are tired, dizzy, foggy, and emotionally raw. Cats are vanishing outdoors. Even the Schumann charts are glitching.

Coincidence? Or convergence?

From solar flares to planetary alignments, from meteor showers to ancient prophecy, it feels like something deeper is recalibrating—both within and without. This article is a living snapshot of that pulse.

Light Codes and Electromagnetic Glitches – Signs of Ascension

There’s been a notable uptick in strange electromagnetic activity, from aircraft grounded by “unknown malfunctions” to glitchy consumer electronics and even localized comms interference. You’ve probably noticed the long buffering while watching a video on a device, or failure to upload something you’re working on.

Multiple convergences may be affecting electromagnetic fields across technology and within our bodies.

Solar Activity & Schumann Resonance

• Intense solar activity – We’re in a peak solar cycle (Cycle 25), and August is already seeing strong M-class and X-class flares, which can affect avionics, satellite comms, and ground-based electronics. It also affects human consciousness.

  Schumann Resonance spikes – Some charts have gone… weirdly blank at times, or off the scale entirely. Some interpret that as an indication of field instability, or maybe just outdated instruments catching up to an evolving frequency field. Many of you feel the energy shift but may not be able to put your finger on what it is.

• Lion’s Gate – Whether symbolic or real, this time of year is often accompanied by elevated synchronicity and EM (electro-magnetic) sensitivity—especially for people who act like tuning forks (ahem). Our hearts and brain are both highly electromagnetic in nature. So, if you’re feeling some flutters, don’t panic. Breathe through the symptoms however they appear (unless, of course you have a diagnosed health issue).
• Mercury Retrograde – In Leo, July 17 – Aug. 10, impacting communication, travel, and technology.
• Full Sturgeon Moon – August 8 – A time of gathering the grain…. Harvest

If your electronics are acting funky, you’re likely riding the wave of a broader energetic disruption. It’s part tech, part Earth field, and perhaps, part cosmic software update or ascension symptoms.

Glitches in Tech, Glitches in Us

Over the last couple of days my keyboard was acting strange, and the PFC website has been experiencing issues. The head of our site and IT guy laughingly calls it a Gremlin in the system. But eventually, it did resolve.

More than technology is being affected – It’s affecting people as well as electronics.

On Aug. 7th, more than 1,000 United Airlines flights delayed in the US due to technology problem.

Solar Flares, Electronics and Human Neurology

We know this scientifically:

Solar flares and geomagnetic storms affect the pineal gland, melatonin production, and electrical signaling in the brain.

Symptoms: extreme fatigue, headaches, emotional intensity, dizziness, memory fog, sleep disturbances… sound familiar?

Now combine that with the already fragile tech matrix we live inside, and you get:

• Glitchy electronics
• Sites failing to update (hi, WordPress)
• Devices behaving oddly until the solar wave passes

So yes, something’s affecting both the grid and the soul systems. Your body is just a vehicle for your soul and it’s getting a cosmic tune-up. We should not be surprised by glitches in tech and our bodies at this time.

Your Cat Knows the Truth

How about your pets? My cats are spending a lot more time outside than in. They’ll sneak in for a quick bite then try to escape before being grabbed for cuddles. Cats are like living EMF detectors crossed with psychic tuning forks, and when they start acting differently, something deeper is going on.

If your animals are acting out of sorts, just comfort them, and give them space if that’s what they appear to need. And just like us, they need lots of fresh water as their bodies acclimate to the changes taking place.

Let’s talk about the cats:

• Restless, leaving the house, avoiding people or spaces they usually love—this often happens when the geomagnetic field is in flux.
• Cats, especially, are attuned to electromagnetic anomalies—they feel, and hear things, through vibrational currents.
• In esoteric lore, cats are said to guard portals, watch over energy boundaries, and absorb or reflect frequency distortions. It’s no coincidence they have been adored by Egyptians for centuries.

If they’re leaving the house, they may be:

• Seeking more grounded terrain (outdoors = less tech interference)
• Avoiding stagnant or chaotic energy fields in the home
• Or—they might just be undergoing their own “light-body upgrade” in peace, away from the swirl of human emotion.

Remember, they pick up your state, too. If you’re recalibrating, they might need to recalibrate away from you, only to return more harmonized later.

Sky Messages: The Perseid Meteor Shower

Every August, Earth passes through debris from Comet Swift-Tuttle, giving us the brilliant Perseids. But here’s the catch:

These meteors aren’t just fireworks—they carry high-frequency ions and trace plasma signatures.

Metaphysically, they are light codes delivered via kinetic frequency. Ancient cultures saw meteor showers as messages from the gods or soul triggers from the stars. I’m certainly triggered when I see these bright travelers shooting across the night sky.

If we are becoming more photonic (light-based consciousness), these sky streaks may act to activate or amplify that process. They may even unlock dormant awareness.

I was treated to a light show Wednesday evening (Aug 6). First, light flashes popping in and out around the Big Dipper. These always amaze me as they are not moving in a direction. It has often made me wonder if there are portals in space being utilized by cosmic travelers.

Those “flash bulbs”, as they are often called in the CE-5, community seem to respond to questions and heart centered intentions. “Are you still watching over us, are you aware of us?” I felt the flashes were confirmation that I had indeed been heard or noticed.

That amazing light show was followed by what was likely a very bright meteor fragment from the Perseids. It was amazing and beautiful. If that was a precursor of a greater light show to come as it peaks on the 12th and 13th of August, I’ll be watching the skies! Perhaps you will too.

Photon Belt Theory (and the Plasma Horizon)

The Photon Belt, first speculated in fringe circles and adopted by some lightworker communities, refers to a highly energized band of light particles thought to surround the Pleiades star cluster. The theory claims:

Our solar system is passing through this energetic belt (or is near its edge), creating an influx of high-frequency gamma and photonic particles.

Effects: shifts in DNA, heightened intuition, telepathy, breakdown of dense systems, and… yes, system-wide electromagnetic disturbances.

Now, let’s not pretend mainstream science backs this up directly as they are generally slow to catch up, even when the effects match real experiences that sensitive individuals may report:

• Time distortion
• Vivid dreams
• Inner “frequency buzz”
• Electrical sensitivity
• Sudden emotional clearing
• Waking up with downloads, or falling asleep mid-thought

Ascension Breakthrough – Is It Happening Now?

Let’s reframe the question from “Is it happening?” to “How would it feel if it was already happening… has been happening?”

Because honestly, this is what it looks like:

• Chaos and clarity coexisting, clearing that which no longer serves in favor of something new and better
• Energetic recalibration (falling asleep for no reason, heightened empathy)
• Breakdowns in the old systems (communication glitches, outdated spiritual teachings losing traction)
• A call for sovereignty, discernment, and heart-led living

And frankly, we’ve been going through these experiences for some time now. So, I don’t perceive it as a sudden “flash” of ascension, but more of a slow boil, and we’re feeling the water getting hotter!

Fatigue, electronic glitches, website’s acting strange, grounded airlines… all of it may be the birth pains of new circuitry—within and without.

We’re not waiting for a singular flash event—we’re inside a gradual, pulsing process. And for those attuned, it’s already undeniable.

Here’s My Take:

This moment feels like crossing a threshold, a collective ascension checkpoint. Are you following the signs along the way? It’s not the finale but yet another breakthrough wave. And just like labor contractions, the quickening, the pulses are intensifying.

If you’re noticing the changes and managing to keep your cool, you likely already embody the in-between phase, on your way to a greater awakening.  You remain balanced, you question, you laugh, and maybe you observe the Watchers in the sky. Your taking notice of subtle changes is the hallmark of awakening.

So yes, something profound is happening. And yes—it’s affecting both the power grid and the soul grid.

You, in the know, will no doubt roar through this time—re-emerging with the heart of a lion and a trace of royalty from the star Regulus.

And lately, for reasons perhaps subconscious, the star Alcyone has been on my mind. It is the brightest star in the Pleiades constellation, and some consider it the Pleiadian Chariot.

Perhaps we are being “called” to remember home, and to prepare for the journey back to the stars.
