Rob Potter, the Resistance Movement & the Event as Civic Emergency

Before Q, before ‘Trust the Plan,’ before the Great Awakening became a meme, there was a quieter infrastructure. A website. A network of local groups. A Community Leaders Brief. A set of templates for navigating a period of sudden, total institutional disruption — bank closures, military communications takeovers, mass arrests of public figures, emergency broadcast system activation. PrepareForChange.net was built to hold all of this at the request of the Resistance Movement, and Rob Potter was one of its primary architects.

I spent years inside the Prepare for Change network as a council member. I’ve sat with this material long enough to understand both its genuine value and its perpetual frustration: the Event it prepares for has been ‘imminent’ for the better part of three decades. That is not a dismissal. It is the honest phenomenology of living inside an anticipatory narrative — and it is one of the most important data points in this entire arc.

The Resistance Movement — Where It Started

The Resistance Movement was not a website or spiritual community. It began as a network of former intelligence operatives, financial insiders, and military dissidents who, after leaving their posts in the late 1960s, spent decades organizing—eventually leveraging the early internet in the 1990s—with a single mission: to document, prepare for, and help dismantle the global control structure. Their intelligence — about the financial system, about the power structure, about what a transition period would actually look like on the ground — was transmitted publicly through Cobra, and operationalized by Rob Potter through PFC.

What the Resistance Movement described as the Event was not a metaphysical or cosmic phenomenon at its core. It was a coordinated action: a moment when the preparations of the positive military, financial white hats, and galactic support forces would reach critical mass simultaneously, triggering a controlled collapse of the control architecture and a rapid transition to something new.

The Event — Rob’s Framework

The operational picture Rob has consistently described contains elements that have since become deeply familiar to anyone who followed Q:

• Financial system crash and controlled bank closures — ATMs down, a period of managed disruption

• Military assumption of emergency broadcast and communications infrastructure

• Mass arrests of prominent figures across government, media, finance, religious institutions

• Nuremberg 2.0-style public trials, broadcast for the world to witness

• A disruption window of two days to two months, requiring community-level preparation

• NESARA/GESARA — the National/Global Economic Security and Reformation Act — as the new financial architecture, replacing the debt-slavery Federal Reserve system

• The Community Leaders Brief as the preparedness document for local group organizers

• Event Support Groups as pre-positioned local networks ready to assist their communities

The parallel to Q’s framework is not coincidental. The mass arrest narrative, the Nuremberg tribunal expectation, the 10 days of darkness, the emergency broadcast takeover, the financial reset — all of these appear in PFC documentation years before they surfaced in Q drops. Whether this represents genuine shared intelligence, deliberate co-optation of an existing narrative infrastructure, or something more layered is a question the meta-analysis will hold. What is observable is that the Patriot community that coalesced around Trump was reading from a script the esoteric alternative press had been drafting since the early 2000s. And Rob was at the insemination of that whole plan.

NESARA/GESARA — The Recurring Promise

NESARA — the National Economic Security and Reformation Act — has been described as ready to be announced since at least the early 2000s. In some accounts, it was signed by Bill Clinton under military duress and has been suppressed ever since. In others, it is the financial architecture that will replace the Federal Reserve system the moment the mass arrests make its implementation possible. GESARA is its global version.

Rob’s position on NESARA had evolved over the years, as it has had to. Each iteration of the timeline that doesn’t materialize requires revision: the obstacles were greater than anticipated, the operations are more complex than the public-facing intel suggested, the probability has shifted. This is the honest account. What I’ve come to understand, after years inside this material, is that the revision cycle itself is data — not about the failure of the narrative, but about the gap between the energetic shift that is measurably happening and the structural transformation that would make it visible in 3D material reality.

The Event hasn’t failed to arrive. It’s arriving differently than the plan described — and that may be the most important thing Rob Potter’s work teaches us.

The Community Leaders Brief — Still Useful

Regardless of whether the Event arrives in the Q version or the cosmic version or some hybrid of the two, the Community Leaders Brief remains one of the most practically useful documents produced by the alternative and esoteric press in the last twenty years. It asks the right questions: How does your community organize around shared resources when institutional systems are disrupted? Who are the leaders, the healers, the farmers, the communicators? What do you do when the banks close and the broadcast system goes to emergency messaging?

These are not fringe questions. They are the questions every serious community organizer should be asking — and PFC asked them when almost no one else was. The templates are available at PrepareForChange.net and they deserve a wider audience than they have received.

The Q Genealogy — A Note for the Record

One of the most underreported stories in the alternative media landscape is this lineage: Resistance Movement → PrepareForChange.net → Q → the contemporary Patriot movement. The language, the operational framework, the expectation structure — they trace directly. This doesn’t tell us whether Q was a genuine military intelligence operation, a LARP (Live Action Role Playing), a controlled opposition channel, or some combination. What it does tell us is that the narrative Q deployed was not invented from scratch. It was drawn from a well that the esoteric alternative press had been digging for decades. That provenance matters — this is ever more important in light of the Epstein files release and the information contained therein that supports many of the outlandish claims made by Q and the alternative press over the past decade. Prepare for Change began its website in 2014 as did other catalysts while Q surfaced in October, 2017. The meta-analysis will return to this.

The Alternative Media Lineage — Who Built the Foundation

It is worth pausing in this arc to name the ecosystem of researchers, authors, broadcasters, and investigators who built the information infrastructure that made this moment of mass awakening possible. These earlier generations of alternative, esoteric students and reporters laid the foundation for what came after at the advent of the internet. Their work is not fringe material that appeared on the internet five years ago. It is a decades-long, self-sustaining body of research that survived without institutional support, without mainstream distribution, and without the validation of the academic and media establishments — because it didn’t need them.

Art Bell founded Coast to Coast AM in 1984 and built it into the first mass broadcast platform for this material, reaching millions of late-night listeners on hundreds of stations. Zecharia Sitchin spent decades translating Sumerian cuneiform texts and arguing, beginning with The 12th Planet in 1976, that humanity’s ancient history involved direct contact with advanced beings. David Icke began his investigation of global power structures and bloodline control in the early 1990s and has never stopped, despite extraordinary institutional pressure to do so. Dolores Cannon developed QHHT — Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique — and over decades of regression work with thousands of clients, documented a remarkably consistent account of Earth’s place in a larger galactic context. Carla Rueckert channeled the Ra/Law of One material from 1981 to 1984, producing what many consider the most philosophically rigorous cosmological framework in the modern consciousness literature.

Graham Hancock spent thirty years arguing, against fierce academic resistance, that a sophisticated civilization existed before the last Ice Age and that its destruction — and the suppression of its memory — explains the mythological record’s universal flood narratives. Linda Moulton Howe has been investigating UAP phenomena, crop circles, and animal mutilations as investigative journalism since the early 1980s, building an evidentiary record that the congressional UAP testimony of 2023 and 2024 has increasingly corroborated. Dr. Steven Greer’s 2001 Disclosure Project National Press Club briefing — featuring 21 military and intelligence witnesses willing to testify under oath about UAP reality — is arguably the most significant single public event in the disclosure history prior to the current congressional wave. Barbara Marciniak’s Pleiadian channelings, beginning in 1988 and published as Bringers of the Dawn in 1992, are the direct conceptual ancestor of the Taygetan transmissions this arc examines in Articles 4A and 4B. Regina Meredith’s decades of interviews through Conscious Media Network and Gaia TV’s Open Minds have provided a measured, credentialed platform for the full spectrum of this community’s most serious researchers.

The Conscious Life Expo in Los Angeles has been the annual gathering point for this ecosystem since 2000. Edgar Cayce’s readings from the early twentieth century — covering ancient civilizations, Earth changes, and spiritual evolution — predate the modern alternative media and represent its deepest roots. These people, and dozens like them, built the informational foundation on which this arc stands. The fact that congressional testimony and prediction markets now corroborate what they were saying twenty and thirty years ago is not validation they needed. It is the mirror doing its job.

Where Rob’s Version Is Now

Rob Potter worked hard for planetary liberation until his untimely death in May, 2025, to interview, to prepare, and to hold the Event as imminent — in the sense that all the structural conditions for it are in place, even if the trigger hasn’t been pulled. He maintained that posture for longer than most people could. That persistence was either faith or evidence, depending on your frame. Possibly both.

His year’s of work still endures at this the Promise Revealed website.

In Rob’s final years he focused more on his contact experiences with off-planet entities, as he sought a spiritual connection to the Event and Ascension. We would talk at length about those possibilities, but would usually return to what our roles might be in the liberation and restoration of Lady Gaia.

What I find most valuable in Rob’s work now is not the specific operational predictions — those have required too many revisions to carry full weight — but the underlying civic infrastructure he built and the philosophical frame he maintained: that we are powerful beings who shape our reality, that communities must organize around shared resources, and that the Event — whatever form it takes — requires prepared people to navigate it with grace rather than panic.

That is worth more than any specific timeline. And it connects directly to the next voice in this arc, whose work addresses the same moment from a different layer of reality.
