Are We Changing Physically as Well as Mentally?

Ah, children. Conceived in a flash of light when sperm and egg unite. What happens next is a miracle—but there are some interesting things happening during that development.
“Let there be light!”
There are many in social media discussing changes or upgrades to our DNA, but it may not be in the adults (yet), but the children born during this active solar cycle 25.
Are some children developing faster, displaying abilities earlier, or showing talents we wouldn’t normally expect at such a young age? And if they are, what’s changed?
There is evidence that individual children are being born with new genetic variants, and there is evidence for striking mental and perceptual abilities in some of them.
What are the children displaying?
The abilities being reported go well beyond musical talent or extraordinary memory. Some children can identify a musical note without being given a reference, hear complicated music only once or twice and reproduce it, or remember enormous amounts of information.
Others can calculate numbers or calendar dates almost instantly, read at an unexpectedly young age, or produce remarkably accurate drawings after seeing something only briefly. Some recognize patterns and connections that others overlook, while others associate numbers, sounds or letters with particular colors or shapes. And some become intensely focused on a subject and absorb information about it at an astonishing rate.
Are some children developing faster, displaying abilities earlier, or showing talents we wouldn’t normally expect at such a young age? And if they are, what’s changed?
In a few of my previous articles I mentioned the Telepathy Tapes, the study of children who can communicate in a way that defies the standards of normal speech… They appear to be communicating telepathically. There’s a particularly intriguing cluster around autism and autistic traits. Researchers have repeatedly found a higher incidence of absolute pitch, savant skills, extraordinary detail processing, pattern detection and certain forms of memory in autistic populations. One proposed mechanism is called veridical mapping: the brain becomes exceptionally adept at recognizing and linking corresponding patterns among different information systems.
Are we witnessing more extraordinary abilities—or have we simply become better at recognizing minds that previous generations misunderstood?
Have they been mislabeled?
Fifty years ago, a child who behaved very differently might have ended up in an institution, dismissed as disabled, or forced to conform.
Today, we’re more likely to recognize that a child who struggles in one area may possess extraordinary abilities in another.
Here is something I didn’t know… Every generation really does contain genetic material that didn’t exist in either parent’s inherited genome. These are called de novo mutations. They can arise in sperm or eggs or during very early embryonic development.
But does human change always require a mutation? Could changes in our environment—including solar activity—also affect how our existing genes are expressed during development? And could some changes unfold across thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of years, while others happen much faster—or…
In the blink of an eye?
There is a legitimate scientific trail connecting solar and geomagnetic activity to measurable human physiology, including research examining possible effects during pregnancy and fetal development.
One study of healthy people in northern Norway found that sufficiently large geomagnetic disturbances were associated with decreased salivary melatonin. This is interesting because melatonin does more than regulate sleep and circadian rhythms; maternal melatonin crosses the placenta and plays a role in fetal development.
If geomagnetic activity can alter maternal physiology, could it also alter the environment in which the fetus develops?
A 2023 study examined 9,573 pregnancies and 26,879 ultrasounds using NASA sunspot data and the Kp geomagnetic index. Researchers found associations between prenatal solar/geomagnetic exposure and differences in fetal growth measurements, with the effects varying depending upon the stage of pregnancy.
The most interesting mechanism may not be mutation. It may be gene expression.
A fetus doesn’t need a newly mutated gene for development to change. Prenatal environmental signals can influence hormones, circadian biology, inflammation and epigenetic regulation, altering when particular genes are turned up or down during development.
We already know that conditions outside the womb can influence development inside it. Studies have linked ordinary sunlight exposure during pregnancy with differences in fetal and childhood growth.
Perhaps some physical and mental traits are influenced, at least in part, by changes in the environment. But that environment doesn’t necessarily end at Earth’s atmosphere.
Now, don’t jump to alien intervention with Enki and Enlil editing our genes, LOL!
Some of the viral stories that first sent me down this rabbit hole were eventually debunked. Another possibility caught my attention: Solar Cycle 25.
Solar Cycle 25 began in December 2019 and has been substantially more active than originally predicted. That means children conceived and born during the early 2020s developed during a period of increasing solar activity, leading into solar maximum.
Could it be related?
Light and Wave Genetics
Interestingly, Russian scientist and founder of Wave Genetics Dr. Peter Gariaev conducted experiments using light to transfer biological information from the developing embryo of one species to another. He reported that information carried by the light could influence the development of the second embryo—for example, producing salamander-like characteristics in a frog embryo, or transferring some characteristics between chickens and ducks.
But his experiments went beyond embryonic development.
In Gariaev’s famous experiment in which he was able to completely regenerate the internal organs of laboratory rats with the help of the methods of wave genetics. Basically, Peter Garyaev has invented an anti-aging tool that doesn’t require any kind of surgery. Per this article:

He was reportedly nominated for the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2021 for his groundbreaking contributions to understanding the wave nature of the genome. Unfortunately, he died on November 17, 2020, at age 78, just weeks after reportedly receiving a letter notifying him of his nomination for the 2021 Nobel Prize in Medicine. It’s sad that he never received the award.
So, if light can carry biological information, as Gariaev’s experiments suggest, and we already know that solar and geomagnetic activity can influence the environment in which an embryo develops, could there be more to the story?
If changes are taking place in humans during this period of heightened solar activity, where might the information be coming from?
What might be between us and the Sun?
For years, I’ve heard people say we should simply look up. Dr. Steven Greer’s CE-5 groups and training encourage exactly that. I’ve even joined friends meditating while filming the night sky through a night-vision attachment—and there was a lot of activity to see!
Recently, Alex Collier was speaking at the August 2026 Mount Shasta conference. He said if we looked at the night sky using night vision binoculars, we would realize just how many ships are now surrounding the planet and helping with the great human experiment. Something that apparently has never been done before… planetary ascension.
If you follow James Gilliland of ECETI Ranch, you’ll see the fantastic footage he and his team have captured of lights, be it craft, or something else, flying overhead, changing direction, and basically providing quite a light show over the property. Perhaps their presence means something at this time.
Where else has something appeared in the sky?
God led the Israelites through the wilderness with a pillar of cloud by day to guide their way and a pillar of fire by night to give them light, ensuring they could travel safely day and night. – Exodus 13:21–22
Exoconsciousness and Plasma Science
Dr. Rebecca Hardcastle Wright, founder of the Institute for Exoconsciousness, has turned her attention to plasma science, bringing together subjects that are usually studied separately: solar plasma and space weather, bioelectricity, biophotons, DNA and consciousness.
One of the videos included in her Plasma Science Study Group explores the work of Robert Temple and the possibility that highly organized plasma may exhibit some characteristics associated with living systems.
That raises another intriguing possibility. If biological systems communicate through electrical and photonic processes, could the larger plasma and electromagnetic environment surrounding Earth also influence those systems? And could developing embryos, whose cells and genetic expression are rapidly organizing, be particularly sensitive to such changes?
What if consciousness could manifest itself in any way deemed helpful, or non-frightening to those it wants to communicate with?
In today’s technological age, appearing as a flying saucer or orb might not be frightening, merely curious. But what if some of the craft themselves are sentient? Could this be the same consciousness manifesting in another form?
With Gariaev’s work, the proposed progression looks something like this:
- The laser supplies the energy/light.
- The biological system supplies the information.
- The light leaving that system is proposed to carry information to another developing biological system.
If we extend that idea into the plasma hypothesis, could the progression look something like this?
- Sun – Intensified solar light/energy
- Interaction with an organized plasma intelligence/field
- Information potentially impressed upon or modulated through that energy
- Earth – developing or upgrading biological systems.
In Gariaev’s model, the light isn’t necessarily the source of the information. It’s the carrier.
What fascinates me is that these ideas have come to me from people who, as far as I know, aren’t associated with each other, yet seem to be exploring different pieces of the same puzzle. And why now?
In another talk by David Clements (becoming one of my favorites to listen to), he moves from Gariaev’s embryos and information-bearing photons into a discussion of plasma, self-organization and intelligence as compression decreases.
Compression Breakthrough
Different people, different fields, different language—but there seems to be a recurring idea: light, information, consciousness and our environment may be interacting in ways we’re only beginning to understand.
For David Clements, compression seems to mean energetic density or constraint. In his model, the more compressed the field becomes, the more matter behaves as the rigid, mechanical world we experience. As compression releases, he says the system becomes more fluid, nonlocal and capable of greater self-organization; he then points to plasma as an example. Most importantly, he connects that release to consciousness: as consciousness changes, “so too does the compression outside of us.”
This may also be why you hear him speak of letting go of control, going with the flow, getting out into nature and simply living in joy—to break through the compression.
Cobra uses the idea of compression somewhat differently.
Going back to his longstanding definition, Earth is effectively the meeting point of two movements: what he calls Light Forces descending toward the surface from above and Light Forces from below moving upward. The “Compression Breakthrough” occurs when those meet at Earth’s surface.
Cobra has also consistently said that this has both physical and nonphysical aspects.
Cobra’s 2026 descriptions have become much more explicitly energetic. Recent workshop notes describe the New Heaven energy descending and New Earth energy ascending, meeting at the physical plane and producing what he calls a new energy or “New Paradise.” He says this process began on May 24, 2026, starting slowly and accelerating.
Dolores Cannon described something similar in her own work, referring to an “Old Earth” and a “New Earth.” In her view, humanity was approaching a separation based on frequency and consciousness, with the New Earth moving into a higher-dimensional state while the Old Earth remained associated with 3-D consciousness.
Different language, perhaps—but once again, the underlying theme is transformation.
So, where does this leave us now?
If we are on a real proper ascension path, I hope it keeps us looking up.
I hope it encourages us to let go of materialism and to reach higher… toward spirituality and love.
And I hope we can collectively take that leap of faith, and in joy, that allows us to advance to the next step in our evolution.
And perhaps the children are showing us what comes next.
