New Participants: Help is on the way, you will be contacted soon
Would you like to work in regional leadership? We are now forming regional leadership teams of several people. If you do, we will send you a mailing list of all our participants in your region to contact. The Planetary Leadership Group is coming forward to assist the Regional Leaders. This is what we are doing until the automated system is operational. Below I have written a more detailed yet general statement about this. If this sounds like something you can help with let me know. – Email Dane.
About the Regional Leadership Strategy for Participation
Thank you for being patient. The response to the Cobra blog announcement has put our manual response team well behind (they are just six part-time people). I am now working to create a regional Event Support Group team strategy to enable all participants from an area to connect and share quickly without needing an intermediary from the Planetary Leadership Group. Our first approach is manual and the second is database driven.
The manual approach is for us to find a leader in each region that can act as a contact for all of the participants from their region and who will answer the new Participate forms. The regional leader will work with the planetary groups to support city leaders. They will help with face-to-face formation of Event Support Groups tasked with presenting the Community Leadership Briefs in their area.
Regional leadership is more about administrative aspects of supporting a large number of local Event Support Groups with regional information, guidance and contacts so they can move forward with their own initiatives.
Although the participants have increased exponentially since the blog announcement in the middle of July we are at a small fraction of where we need to be. This future growth will require the database driven system which will enable new participants to have their own profile on Prepareforchange.net where they can return and add or change information. Their profile will be accessible to the leadership but most of it will be automated so that their preferences will be shared with the people who can help them immediately to integrate their efforts into their whole region. The database is a sophisticated yet simple approach to sharing and communicating within regions allowing each individual to grow and change through their own self-description in their profile. Changes in their preferences will be automatically communicated to the necessary people within the Groups in order to be of assistance.
Event Support Groups are local in nature. Regions are the largest functional subdivision needed to effectively organize for the Event.
Please participate in the Event Support Groups in your area and consider working at the City and Regional level if you feel called to do so.
