I remember what it was like when women had no rights they were treated like rubbish by men and I am glad that women have more rights now. I think it was disgusting the way society had it ordered that women should be subservient to a man. I am glad we have more rights I know how precious that is, no more having to put up with a man bullying and depriving you and the police calling men battering you just a domestic and no way out . There is no reason why men and women cannot get along and a women be what she should have been all along, a person in her own right – with rights and money of her own same as a man instead of being a battered bullied cowed slave to a man and not able to earn a wage or rent an apartment in there own right. Women's progress was obstructed by men and the church they were totally abused and I for one think it was right that this disgusting unjust situation was all changed because women should have had those rights all along. What is happening now is that some men are pissed because they have to work at a relationship instead of getting to treat a woman like property and just treat her how the hell they liked with no come back. Just look at Muslim women to see how dreadful men can be to women if that is allowed. Society progressed and it was a good thing. No one said women no longer needed men what we are saying is women are no longer willing to be made subservient to a man or to be bullied and abused so don't bother trying put twist on it by implying that we have ruined the family by being independent people. That is what is being said, when all we have really lost is the disgusting abuse of women and it is up to men to decide whether they want to be a grown up and have an equal relationship with a women or not . Young women today have no idea how lucky they are that we fought hard for those rights. We are not at war with men and we will always love them and need them, we are just not allowing ourselves to be abused anymore. Many men understand how wrong that situation was and they have progressed. NO we are not going back to those days !!!!!
