Standing at the Threshold of Disclosure
Have We Developed the Wisdom to Become Galactic Citizens?
Rev. Kat Carroll
For years, disclosure has been hinted at, teased, promised, delayed, reframed. But something feels different this week. Not because files have dropped — they haven’t. But because the language around them has shifted. The brakes may not be fully off, but they may no longer be fully engaged.
During this week of amazing information, from Epstein files being released and discussed by numerous social media commentators, to the arrest of Prince Andrews, and the many people stepping down from their business positions due to ties with J.E., the world has somehow shifted.
But the timing feels uncanny:
The Walk for Peace – Calming society
New Moon Eclipse in Aquarius (as in the dawning of)
Chinese New Year – Fire Horse energy, burning away the old in favor of new growth
Major astrological alignments favoring a shake up and reorganization of old institutions
And just possibly, the end of the long year – the procession of the equinox, and our walk into the Age of Aquarius… the start of a new golden era. We are seeing and sensing a change in the paradigm.
James Gilliland of ECETI dropped this gem in Facebook on Thursday, Feb. 19.
And at nearly the same time, articles began to appear related to UFO/Alien Disclosure. And some would call it “catastrophic” disclosure, as it would likely instigate the release of much more information. I made an inquiry through the Brave AI search engine and this was returned:
Donald Trump has announced he is directing federal agencies, including the Pentagon and the Department of War, to begin the process of identifying and releasing classified government files related to UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects), UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena), and alien and extraterrestrial life. The announcement, made via a post on his Truth Social platform on February 20, 2026, cited “tremendous interest” from the public as the driving reason.
Trump’s decision follows comments by Barack Obama, who, during a podcast interview, stated that aliens are “real” but clarified that he had no evidence of contact during his presidency. Trump accused Obama of disclosing classified information, calling it a “big mistake,” and suggested that declassifying the files could help “get him out of trouble.”
While Trump emphasized the directive to release information, no files have been declassified yet—the order initiates the process of identifying and preparing documents for potential public release. The move aligns with growing bipartisan calls for transparency on UAPs and alleged non-human technology.
I’ll drop all the links to the articles generated by this at the bottom of the article, in the resource section.
We’ve been waiting for more information since the first hearings in 2001, even since Roswell and back into the 40’s. But there was a strong hold on keeping such information protected. What’s happening now reminds me of a rusty door. The information is old, and has been hard to get too. And now, with every nudge, that door is opening a bit wider and we may finally have public acknowledgment of what has been behind those sealed doors for decades.
This is actually, quite amazing. Although nothing has been released yet, just the thought that Trump may be the one to finally initiate real disclosure is astonishing. But it shouldn’t be a stretch of the imagination. After all, his uncle John Trump who worked at MIT also worked with Tesla information. And Tesla was aware of much, much more. Here is a book from 2008 by LaViolette, Paul A.
Secrets of antigravity propulsion : Tesla, UFOs, and classified aerospace technology
Technology of this nature and information about UFOs, or if you prefer, UAPs is not new information. It’s rarely mainstream media news. And that is by design. This is the nature of secret patents for the sake of National Security, and competition between the military of other continents. Every nation wants technological superiority, especially when it comes to something that could be used as a weapon. But what about positive uses of technology?
Something has been shifting quietly, and being introduced to the human zeitgeist; the rise in practices to elevate human consciousness. And it’s working.
You can’t deny the shift that has more people now meditating daily, practicing random acts of kindness (and those wonderful senseless acts of beauty). The Walk for Peace the Buddhist Monks completed was an example of how just staying in a coherent state of mind, even while walking, can have a profound effect on those around them. They were like human tuning forks that others began to resonate with them.
But I’m digressing. Trump issuing a directive to release information is a step in the right direction. With any luck, he’ll have more success than Congressional Hearings on the topic. Rather than the continued slow drip of information, perhaps it’s time to open the spigot and let the information flow.
If you knew who to follow, and what books to read or podcasts to listen to, you may have been aware of this information for a very long time. The difference now is that it may become more mainstream.
Most people won’t believe something is true until they hear it from their local news channel. And in a way, that’s sad. Because we’ve learned over the last 10 to 20 years (likely much longer), that they’ve had a tight grip on what information is shared with the public. They have their own people to answer to, whether it was the WHO, CDC, WEF or the folks at DAVOS. And when someone elects to go “off script”, they often find themselves looking for a new job or place to share their voice. i.e. Tucker Carlson who is no longer with Fox News. But something may be shifting toward more transparency.
The release of information and new technology should come with a warning. Without the wisdom and temperance to use it responsibly, it could come with grave consequences. (Think about Nagasaki and Hiroshima.) Just because you have discovered exotic technologies, is this the based way to use that power? That was a hard lesson.
I recently finished rewatching the science fiction TV show, The Orville, and although often seen as comedy, there were some very salient moments that echoed what we’ve been experiencing as a society in their final season.
AI eventually trying to dominate the galaxy, a world that judges it’s citizens by voting up or down. Both were handled quite beautifully. In a dilemma with the Kaylon, the AI beings who destroyed their creators because of abuse, showing them an act of sacrifice to protect them was enough to shift the entire AI culture to change their perspective on humanity, and deem it not just worth saving, but to form an alliance.
On the planet the judges it’s citizens, and a down vote over a certain number can lead to death by execution, one person who had met the crew and secretly stole a communicator reaches out to request asylum on board the Oroville.
This refugee struggles with guilt over the technology on board the ship she feels should be shared with her world. Commander Grayson takes her to a simulator to shows her what happened when a world that was gifted advanced technology. Before they had worked out all their issues and without the wisdom to work together peacefully and in cooperation to solve their problems, they ended up destroying their planet.
And that brings us back to what some would consider, “catastrophic disclosure”.
If humanity is introduced to:
- Exotic propulsion
- Energy abundance
- Advanced AI
- Galactic contact
…without first resolving tribalism, power addiction, and fear responses, instability could follow.
Perhaps this is a lesson for the people of Earth. We have to be ready to solve our differences, our judgements of each other, and even the use of AI, with temperance and wisdom. Life should not be a competitive race to a finish line, but the enjoyment of the journey as we learn and grow together. We need to work cooperatively with every nation, before we can work with the people of other worlds.
And once we have proven we won’t blow ourselves up, then perhaps we can become members of a galactic federation of worlds. Humanity has stumbled before when power outran wisdom.
But we have also learned, adapted, and grown. If disclosure marks another step forward, perhaps it arrives at a time when we are capable of handling the truth, and more than ever before.
