Emotional High Tide: Riding the Wave of Converging Energies

So much has been happening this year, and so many changes taking place at breakneck speed. Some of it doesn’t seem real, some of it is often shocking. But perhaps that’s the point. What if the world needs to experience a dark night of the soul, or near-death experience, to shake off the old, and make space for the new incoming energies of love and unity? Our exterior world may reflect the opposite, but the transformation within each of us reflects the higher vibrations and frequencies that are rapidly becoming our new way of being… our ascension process.
So, hold onto your hat as I reveal the many cycles that appear to be converging at the same time, to be the catalyst of change for the world.
The Cyclic Nature of Evolution
There are multiple cycles that affect human behavior. They can push our limits of patience and comprehension. While most are unaware they even exist, these cycles have been studied and recorded, documented throughout history. The difference is today, we are living in a major convergence of several cycles, and it’s making it difficult to think clearly, and to stay afloat in the rising tides of change.
Let’s examine some these cycles and how they are affecting the world.
Solar Cycles
The world is living through yet another 11-year cycle of solar expansion and contraction. I doubt there are many who have not noticed the increase in solar flares, including 4 X class this week (as of the writing of this article). Historically, civilizations rise and fall with solar activity. While the activity can shake things up, it also generally causes a rise in consciousness, which is difficult to see in the current moment, I know!
Solar Cycle 25 (peaking 2024–26) is moderate, but forecasts show a decline toward mid-century, possibly another Gleissberg-scale 88-year cycle dip. If history repeats as anticipated, this could mark the Crisis → Renewal pivot of the 21st century: old institutions faltering under stress, new systems germinating beneath them.
In November 2025, the sun erupted with 2 X class solar flares on November 4. The flare, an X 1.8 class flare peaked at 12:34 pm and triggered a strong radio blackout across much of North and South America.
A few hours later, a 2nd X.1.1 Class flare erupted, causing another strong radio blackout across the North Pacific Ocean, New Zealand, and parts of eastern Australia. Per Space.com If you follow Stefan Burns on YouTube, you’ll know that more are likely as the coronal holes rotate to face Earth.
In symbolic terms, the Sun withdraws to reset its field; humanity mirrors the act, reorganizing its “magnetic polarity”, our values, economies, alliances.
Planetary Cycles
Beyond the Sun’s heartbeat are the long, slow dances of the planets, massive bodies whose alignments mirror the pulse of human civilization. When Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto gather or oppose, history tends to pivot.
Every twenty years, Jupiter and Saturn conjoin in what astrologers call the Great Conjunction. The 2020 conjunction in Aquarius launched a new 200-year air cycle, an age of ideas, networks, and collective innovation. The last time this elemental shift occurred, the world entered the Enlightenment and the industrial revolution. Now, we’re being nudged toward the quantum and the conscious, cooperation over conquest.
Add in Uranus in Taurus, shaking economies and resources; Neptune in Pisces, dissolving boundaries between truth and illusion; and Pluto hovering on the cusp between Capricorn and Aquarius, transforming institutions while awakening individual power. Together, these form the planetary equivalent of a grand chord change in a cosmic symphony — a shift that can sound discordant until humanity finds its new key.

Human / Societal Cycles
History doesn’t just repeat, it spirals. About every 80 to 90 years, society passes through what historians call a Fourth Turning, a period of intense restructuring that follows a long buildup of tension. Within those 80-year turns are 20-year sub-cycles tied to conflict and realignment. Now that nuclear testing may be back on the menu, there are concerns the world is preparing for greater conflict. If not wars between nations, civil wars for freedom of speech, the fight against voter fraud, Christianity, and for health sovereignty are still brewing. (Keep a watchful eye on New York.)
The American Revolution, the Civil War, and World War II each marked the climax of these cycles. The years 2025–2035 fall squarely within the next wave. Like clockwork, we are again called to redefine governance, economics, and belief systems.
Add to that the Kondratiev Wave, the approximate 55-year rhythm of technological rise and collapse and we see why the digital world feels both exhilarating and exhausting. Each wave ends when its technologies create problems they can no longer solve, forcing a leap into a higher paradigm with our computers, communication, and Artificial Intellience. We’re standing in that threshold now: information itself is becoming energy, and consciousness the next frontier.
Climatic and Geophysical Cycles
Earth’s own body responds to solar and galactic rhythms through temperature, magnetism, and tectonic movement. Grand solar minimum often coincides with cooling trends and resource scarcity, while active phases bring warmth and abundance.
As of November 7, 2025, the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season is ongoing, with a total of 13 named storms recorded, including five hurricanes and four major hurricanes (Category 3 or higher). The season officially began on June 1 and will end on November 30, though activity has already resulted in significant impacts.
The strongest storm of the season, Hurricane Melissa, reached Category 5 intensity with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph (295 km/h) and a minimum central pressure of 892 mbar (hPa), making it one of the most intense Atlantic hurricanes on record. It made landfall in Jamaica at peak intensity, becoming the costliest hurricane in Jamaican history. The season has already caused at least 115 fatalities and over $6.555 billion in damage, primarily due to Melissa. Even now, the Philippines are preparing for a major storm.
To shake things up further (if you’ll pardon the pun), in 2025, there were 13,242 earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.0 or higher worldwide. This figure is part of the total of 15,063 earthquakes recorded globally in 2025, which includes all magnitudes.
What looks like chaos in the weather or Earth’s crust may be the planet’s way of maintaining balance, letting off some steam, or a periodic breathing out before the next breath in.
When humans align with this pattern, conserving during contraction, innovating during expansion, civilizations thrive. When we fight it, we call it crisis.
The Emotional and Energetic Cycle
Each of these grand mechanics eventually funnels into the human heart. Solar storms disturb our electromagnetic fields; planetary shifts tug at our subconscious; social realignments stir the collective psyche. We feel it as confusion, agitation, or fatigue… an emotional high tide that rises through the entire collective.
We should not see this convergence as punishment; it’s a clearing, a purification. It forces to the surface everything incompatible with higher consciousness and group coherence so we can see it and release it. Media fear narratives, reactive individuals and weaponized outrage only magnify the noise. The real work is learning to stay centered in the eye of the storm. We must observe the energies without surrendering to them. You may not be able to do anything to stop them, but you can choose how you respond.
That’s what sovereignty looks like on the energetic level: knowing the storm is real, but realizing you are not the storm. You can choose to ride within the eye, the quiet center, as an observer, maintaining calm, coherent waves that ripple outward as lifelines for those still thrashing in the current. In that quiet space, presence itself becomes a life preserver.
Final Thoughts
Although events of the past decade, (and beyond) have been quite tumultuous and, at times shocking, perhaps its been nature’s way of waking us from slumber and complacently. Those who speak of Order out of Chaos have long applied it in many ways. The idea of a “One World Order” sounds horrific, but is it really? Perhaps the catalyst for change and spiritual growth is the chaos, and only through adversity do we find the strength to awaken and change. If an ascension event is taking place in this moment, we are not just the goldfish watching from the bowl. Perhaps we are the ones who change the tide by swimming in unison, as one.
Like the Greek mythology of Jason and the Argonauts, we are learning to navigate the great cosmic sea of events, not in pursuit of a golden fleece, but of a golden era, one born from unity rather than conquest. The storm’s edges may churn with chaos, but the center holds a still channel; the middle waters where calm courage and collective purpose keep the ship steady.
