Giant Silkworm UFO Passes Over Mississauga
and Toronto, Ontario Skyline
By James Borg of Sudbury, Ontario, and podcaster of the UFOria Chronicles, and Dr. Raymond Keller, a.k.a. “Cosmic Ray,” author of Autobiography of a Venusian: Book 1 – Child of the Stars (Discus Publishing, 2026), available on amazon.com

On Thursday, 16 April 2026, between 5:45-5:49 p.m. an object resembling a giant blue silkworm appeared passing at about 400 feet overhead of the western Toronto suburb of Mississauga, Ontario. The object was witnessed by dozens of area residents and even photographed by one of the locals, a gentleman wishing to remain anonymous, but a regular viewer of James Borg’s UFOria Chronicles. When James visited this witness to investigate the incident, the UFO observer transferred the digital images of the mysterious object to James’ smart phone, which you can see posted along with this article.
In the UFO experiencer’s own words, “It (the UFO) slowly moved eastbound at approximately 10 km/h. It remained the same (didn’t change its form) and moved slowly; then it proceeded to rotate vertically and horizontally. The top portion rotated at a different speed than the lower portion.” In other words, the object seemed to wriggle. The observer also noted that, “It slowly ascended and picked up speed and disappeared before it got near the tall buildings in Toronto.”
James Borg found it uniquely fascinating that the witness remarked, “I was shown this in my dreams and have déjà vu writing this (filing the UFO report).” The connection of the observer with the object may be found in the gentleman’s prior UFO sightings, which he thus describes: “I have seen two other strange objects proceed in this direction and altitude. A thick, white V-ship and robotic-like flying object. Also, a large horizontal light with its center and edges lit up. Also, a very large tubular object that was about 110-feet long and 20 feet above a building and slowly moving before it just disappeared.” James also noted that the witness somehow sensed that the UFO was surrounded by some kind of “force field.”

Trevor James Constable (1925-2016) at the 1957 Interplanetary Spacecraft Convention at Giant Rock Airport in Landers, California. Trevor was the first to propose the idea that UFOs were themselves ethereal beings from a quantum dimension projecting only the image of physical spaceships.
“Space Critter” Theory
With respect to the UFO phenomenon, this opens up some interesting possibilities. Trevor James Constable (1925-2016), a native of New Zealand and communications officer for ships of the Matson Line, was also known as one of the contactees of the 1950s and frequent speaker at George Van Tassel’s Interplanetary Spacecraft Conventions out at Giant Rock Airport in Landers, California. As a pioneer ufologist, he advanced the “space critter” theory in his book, They Live in the Sky (Los Angeles, California: New Age Publishing, 1958). The author describes his own telepathic contact with an invisible being, and how, at the suggestion of this ethereal intelligence, he began experimenting with infrared film in conjunction with the elementary principles of spiritual science.
From this entity, Constable learns that flying saucers operate mainly in a quantum universe, unseen by humans but on rare occasions. Some of the UFOs that we do observe, however, consist of both physical craft and living, biological creatures. The book shatters many misconceptions generally held by ufologists and offers, instead, the twin premises that these UFOs are ultra-dimensional and living organisms that take on the appearance of spacecraft when they materialize in our atmosphere, possibly playing off the observer’s shared conceptions of flying saucers and their occupants in the collective consciousness. These entities, emanations from a quantum universe, would certainly have ethereal bodies that defied the known laws of our reality. In one sense, these entities can be viewed as consubstantial with the perceived UFOs, thereby exhibiting the ability to morph into anything they wish to project to us. Other paranormal researchers like the British biologist Dr. Ivan T. Sanderson, the American anomalist John A. Keel, and the French computer expert and ufologist, Dr. Jacques Vallee have continued to follow-up on Constable’s theory.
On the other hand, Constable does not discount the possibility that some of the UFOs may, indeed, be extraterrestrial spaceships of a physical nature. Examples of the physical material from these types of UFOs may have been recovered by Air Force’s Space Reconnaissance Office, headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. The universe is a big place, after all. There is a plenty of room for endless multitudes of intelligences at all planes of existence, all densities, all dimensions, all modalities.
