From guest writer Jessica:

When you need to bring peace into your home, indoor plants can help keep the good vibes flowing. Before you go to the greenhouse and buy the first plant you see, know which one will benefit your life the most.

Whether you want prosperity or deeper meditation, try growing these eight plants to enhance your spirituality.

1. Jasmine

If you want to improve your relationship with your significant other, keep jasmine in your home. As an aphrodisiac, jasmine enhances sexuality. This property may help you develop more intimacy with your partner.

Jasmine can also help you relax, and with so many species, you have plenty of choices when it comes to visual aesthetics. Jasmine likes a warmer climate, and it will thrive if you give it lots of sunlight.

Growing jasmine in your home promotes peace, and you may smell its flowers more potently at night. You can use jasmine for an herbal tea to help you relax and improve your sleep habits.

2. Money Plant

Several plants fall under the umbrella term of the money plant. The most common include the Chinese Money Plant and Pachira.

Pachira Aquatica, native to Central and South American wetlands, is one of the easiest indoor plants to grow. It symbolizes wealth and prosperity. If you’re struggling financially or looking for a plant to help you put extra money in your pocket, introduce Pachira to your home.

Aside from its status as a symbol of wealth, Pachira can also help purify air quality. Because a healthy environment enables you to breathe more easily and sleep better, Pachira can improve your physical health, along with your spiritual and mental well-being.

3. Cannabis

Marijuana can allow you to access spiritual states you can’t reach on your own. Growing marijuana in your home means you have better access to this plant’s properties and can benefit from them.

Marijuana works to manage many mental and physical illnesses and disorders, from anxiety to chronic pain and seizures. When you grow cannabis indoors, you should opt for auto-flowering marijuana.

Auto-flowering marijuana seeds need less cultivation time, making them ideal for indoor growth. They also flower based on the passage of time, instead of relying on light cycles like photoperiod cannabis.

Marijuana can help you relax during meditation. It also lowers stress levels so you can focus on welcoming good vibes into your home.

4. Peace Lily

Peace lilies are known for bringing tranquility to any space, making them an ideal plant for enhancing positive vibrations. They purify the air, and their low maintenance needs mean you don’t have to water them daily.

Peace lilies grow well in low or artificial light, which means you can place them anywhere in your house and watch them thrive. Some people believe that peace lilies can help relieve headaches and breathing troubles, and you often see them in hospital rooms.

When you place peace lilies in darker areas of your home, you can purify spaces that receive less attention, like closets or even your bathroom. However, use caution if you have cats or dogs, as these plants are poisonous to them.

5. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is known for its ability to treat skin trouble, as well as its antioxidant and antibacterial properties. It can also invite positivity into your space.

It removes pollutants from the air, and as a succulent, you’ll find it easy to maintain. As it purifies the air, it elevates your mood and calms mood swings.

Additionally, part of promoting spirituality and good vibes involves caring for your body. By utilizing aloe vera for its health benefits, you open yourself to more positive spiritual energy.

6. Jade

Many people regard jade as another form of the money plant. It promotes prosperity in the home, and growing it in yours may attract good fortune.

Jade belongs to the succulent family, so even if you don’t have a green thumb, you can keep a jade plant alive. As a low maintenance plant, they don’t need much water or attention.

Jade plants reduce stress, and many Feng Shui experts use them to bring peace to a home environment. You can also use jade in teas, and some people use it in traditional medicine for stomach upset.

7. Eucalyptus

While you may know eucalyptus as a remedy for colds and other respiratory ailments, it can also clear negative energy. Its minty scent increases focus. Better focus leads to deeper meditation and spiritual connection.

It improves your energy and productivity, at the same time reducing fatigue. A clearer mind and lower stress also improve your sleep quality. With better sleep, you may remember your dreams more vividly and have more meaningful spiritual experiences.

8. Sage

People worldwide revere sage as a sacred purifying plant when you burn it in your home. However, you don’t need to burn it to experience its benefits.

Sage clears fear, anger, and other negative emotions from the environment. It promotes the flow of positive energy and can heal the effects left behind by arguments and other issues within a space.

Sage needs plenty of sunlight to grow indoors, so put it near a window to benefit your home to its full potential.

Final Thoughts

When you want to enhance your spirituality and invite good vibes into your home, choose a plant that matches your needs. You should make sure to provide for the plant’s needs, as only healthy plants can benefit you and your home.
