Excellent video outlining the psychological components that have led to what Corbett calls “Hopium.” This is a false sense of HOPE where the believer is convinced that some God or someone is going to swoop in and save the day. He contrasts this with real, authentic hope which inspires us to step forward and participate with the rehabilitation and creation of the world at large.
