Discovering Samadhi

By Rev. Kat Carroll

We all like to think we are in control of our lives. In fact, we feel lost and off our path when we’re not. It  leaves us feeling vulnerable, and as if we are not living up to certain expectations. But who is the one imposing those expectations, limitations, or high ideals?  Obviously, it’s you!

You may be making decisions based on how you were indoctrinated in the school system.  Your parents had a lot to do with those feelings by constantly driving you to be your best.  They all meant well and were there when we were still discovering who we were.

As an adult, the choices you make (right or wrong) are now your responsibility. However, it may be time to give yourself a break. For one, every experience, right/wrong, good/bad, are just that, an experience, and an opportunity to learn. Every experience teaches you something. If you don’t learn the lesson, you may find yourself repeating some of the less than pleasant experiences. We stand at the precipice of a new era and the rules are changing. Are you willing to let go and go with the flow? Or as my grandmother would tell us, “Let go and Let God”. Sometimes when we let go, a better answer or solution presents itself.

Nowhere in written history is there a record of what mankind is now experiencing. There are great changes taking place within the planet, governments, and the various systems that used to tell society how to behave and who and what they should trust.  Many of the thoughts of how to exist in the world are falling away like a house of cards.  Even our belief systems are changing.

Many are now questioning their role in the grand scheme of things.

  • Why am I here?
  • Where did I come from?
  • What am I supposed to be doing?

These are important questions as we learn that we are not alone in the universe.  Those in the universe may be trying to connect with you to aid you on your journey.

Disclosure has slowly been coming forward but not from the sources who would normally control the narrative, our governments and even the military agencies. It’s coming from grass roots movements comprised of the everyday person, who is beginning to have extraordinary experiences; some even contacting higher dimensional beings via channeling, downloads, dreams, and those intuitive ideas that strike like lightening.

If you find yourself having more moments of inspiration and receiving information from unknown sources, don’t panic.  Your on track and simply tapping into the Akash, the record of all that was, is or ever shall be.  We live in a very connected universe.  Time is not linear as we’ve been taught. Those who go to space experience time in quite a different way.

There is an unanticipated bonus for those lucky enough to get into space and away from Earth’s electromagnetic field.  It’s a sense of wonder, a feeling of belonging and of being at peace.  That experience is called Samadhi.

Yogapedia explains the term samadhi is derived from several Sanskrit roots; sam meaning “together” or “completely,” a meaning “toward” and dhe, meaning “put.” Direct translations vary, and interpretations range from “bliss” to “liberation” and even “enlightenment.”

“Samadhi, in Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism and yogic schools, is a state of meditative consciousness. In Buddhism, it is the last of the eight elements of the Noble Eightfold Path. In the Ashtanga Yoga tradition, it is the eighth and final limb identified in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali”.  Wikipedia

Astronaut Edgar Mitchell was the Lunar Module Pilot for the Apollo 14 flight, which lasted from January 31 to February 9, 1971.  He was the 6th man to walk on the moon.

Mitchell was the first to report this awakening experience after a nine-hour walk on the moon. What happened on the return to Earth transformed his consciousness forever and put him on the path of self-discovery.  But he wasn’t the only one.

Tom Calvin is a retired American astronaut, who was most active with NASA in the 1970s and 1980s. He is a self-described evangelical and feels that human space exploration is something that God absolutely approves of, and that it is only through the exploration of God’s creation, including outer space, that humans can truly come to understand God.

Exploring your own inner space is what leads to outer space and your ability to connect with “God”.

Apollo astronaut Jim Irwin was one of several astronauts who had their evangelical beliefs reinforced by flying in space.

Edgar Mitchell provides an example of a non-Christian astronaut who had an intense religious experience in space that led him to open an organization called the Institute for Noetic Sciences.

“The term noetic sciences was first coined in 1973 when the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) was founded by Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who two years earlier became the sixth man to walk on the moon. Ironically, it was the trip back home that Mitchell recalls most, during which he felt a profound sense of universal connectedness, or what he later described as a samadhi experience. In Mitchell’s own words, “The presence of divinity became almost palpable, and I knew that life in the universe was not just an accident based on random processes. . . .The knowledge came to me directly.”  Excerpt taken from Space exploration as religious experience.

Edgar Mitchell’s experience and subsequent opening of further studies of consciousness at IONS have had groundbreaking results for humanity. Their studies have expanded our understanding of how much control we have over our lives, for healing our bodies and changing our destiny.

New Experiments Show Consciousness Affects Matter | Dean Radin, video

We can become entangled with objects and people. We can even affect the past which changes our current situation.

Heal your Spirit, Heal your Body.  Your body has all the tools needed to heal your body and give you the quality and longevity you desire.

What the ongoing studies have proven is that you can experience the same Samadhi experience here on Terra-Firme.

Some of you may meditate, but do you know the secret to obtaining this exalted feeling that Edgar Mitchell reported?  It’s actually quite simple. It’s so simple that many people pass it off. But this secret was mentioned in the teachings of Jesus Christ, by Buddhist monks and others who have achieved it.

All you need is a few moments in a quiet and comfortable location to relax your mind and body. You can get out into space by first tuning into the inner space of your mind. Consciousness is not limited to existing in the body and some people eventually learn to have out of body experiences while in meditation. Let go and let yourself drift. Don’t try to control, just feel. Eventually, you’ll reach that floaty kind of sensation where you no longer feel your body and you become pure conscious awareness.

When you generate thoughts or feelings of love, joy, gratitude, and appreciation, your body and mind relax. Those feelings trigger your heart to send signals to the brain that support the feeling and cause the healing you need, or that you intend for another.  When you can get into this state of meditation and enter with an intention, it can even relax the strands of your DNA, which lengthens them. All you need to do is visualize it happening while giving thanks for it happening. It’s a form of metaphysics.  Your wishes become manifest.  I strongly suggest you keep your intentions positive and for your healing, or the healing of others or for good outcomes for yourself and others.

What the studies have shown is you don’t need to be particularly religious or associated with one belief system or another.  It’s not about Dogma and morality… It’s about your soul and you being in charge of the vehical it inhabits.  You are the driver and in control of your destination. If you don’t like the scenery, make a conscious choice to change directions.

You can do this in meditation, or in your daily life.  All you need to do is imagine it.  Like in the movie, Field of Dreams, “build it and they will come”. In this case, what comes are your dreams and aspirations.

Epigenetic studies conducted by the Heart Math Institute have shown we can change our genes and activate more of our DNA.  Our genes are sensitive to the quality of our emotions. This is why it’s crucial to spend time focusing on things you enjoy rather than news that is negative and even in question. Try your best to stay in those positive emotional states of joy, love and gratitude. It raises your vibration and awareness which increases the flow of information you’ll have access to.  More information is available in the video below from the Heart Math Institute.

The Gene-ius Within: Unlocking the Beneficial Effects of Heart-Focused Intention on Gene Expression

I hope you will find time to practice entering your own inner space (which I have found often leads to outer space). God, whatever you conceive him, her, or it to be, is already within you!  Have a conversation and ask for some loving guidance. You’ll be pleasantly surprised!

Speaking of DNA,

How do you know if a chromosome is male or female?
Take off its genes!

If that joke made you smile, I just raised your vibration a notch!

I've been interested in all things related to metaphysics, parapsychology, spirituality and anything related to space since childhood. I'm the kid who used to let the Jehova Witness and Mormans into the house so I could ask a million questions. I've always wanted to be of service and ended up working as an EMT and later in law enforcement. A family job transfer lead me to Washington State for 5 years where I went back to studying spiritual phenomenon and meeting some fascinating people. I've had several initiations, was taught energy healing and became certified in Reiki III over the final 3 years. I had a larger awakening and understanding of how it Reiki worked, remote sensing and more after returning to CA in 2001. I love researching and now writing and being a spokesperson for benevolent contact with NHIB through the practice of meditation. I experienced a spontaneous healing and not long after the "quickening" of 12/21/2012, began having more paranormal experiences, including seeing the UFOs, and orbs that fly over at night. I'm also a volunteer /Admin for ETLetsTalk and love teaching others how to make that connection that I know will one day lead us out of the darkness and into a brighter future.

  1. Oh so we should not trust govs but se shoul trust 33rd degree masonic astraunots and their red friens at NASA? How did that astraunot got to the moon? From the film set of now suicided Stanley Kubrick?

Samadhi is sleep. You stay here in this trap. KAIVHALYA is on the other side awakening. And that… nobody ever talks about that.

Stay confusing PFC! Between the Fulford posts, the gnostics touching posts, and then these NASA sponsored severely sad post you remain championship of confusion.

  2. vitalizing as was another post today.

This to my inner reminds me much for the "10 Rules to being human". Its certainly a tough go. Whilst alive enrolled in a daily school called "Life" we're enrolled in of learning lessons. {to which covers an entire spectrum of things to learn, and by how many cycles it/this may care to take}.
The feature is laid out quite well. the 10th: You will forget all of this. How so true. Yet one can only vibrate as to how one learns to construct what comes along with learning of lessons and how each lesson provides in of its values. The Hard part is being aware of the inner directives we care to take, let alone be or not be influenced and care to take of these lessons Principle structure going forward to yet learn more.
For of all things its just the self, in of self inside, to decide what self can do with all things by of the self reaching the "I Am". Have more to know to learn can enforce many things Together in mind and soul with sharing of spirit. Learning along the way enlightens one when one can see that in of really such schmicks of these things along the way. We really are one of the same. "connected". Believe this is in one of those schmicks the wake up of many other things. Yet!

PS: a great one of my past shared this "Schmicks" with me. Schmicks do Add up to a something. Always look for another schmick.! no mater how it may be presented. "Key element" Keeping an open mind. Surely to test challenge skeptic, its point learn to see it of such and or accept it as one can take of it to divulge its point and allow to be registered – "Or Not" the filtering effect in a form of.

  3. God-Good and the Devil-Evil is a symbiotic entity, the Almighty! The Almighty has no Gender, IT is an IT! IT gave us Free Will, so that we are responsible for everything we do, or fail to do, towards our fellow travelers, Men Women and Children and our Environment, while we are on this beautiful, accommodating Planet of Ours! We must make sure that we are not letting the Evil-Devil, gain the barbaric-bloody upper hands, in our SOUL! Try to live by the 'Golden Rule'?

    • Absolutely. But if you want to get into that blissful state of mind, it means keeping most of your thoughts and intentions focused on the good, loveing, charitable feelings.

I appreciate your commenting on my article.

      • Your post is a black hole of a pill. Incredibly sad to see a person not understand what NASA is unless you do not exist and you are listing as a shill in a bunker somewhere in Hawai.

Stating do not trust govs then state "TRUST NASA" knowing NASA in Hebrew means deceit. You are either a propagandist as all SAMHADI peoples (stay asleep) or you are severely asleep.

Either way. Thanks for the laugh and let me know when NASA is returning to Space because it seems thy only went to a film SET!!!!

  4. Samadhi…
A non~dualistic state of consciousness in which the consciousness of the experiencing subject becomes one with the experienced object, and in which the mind becomes still though one remains conscious~zero point

I facilitate one’s journey into this zero point consciousness…it’s called self realization and it’s the space all we’re created to reach during this low vibrational frequency of 3D. It’s the only purpose of life.
