One thing frequently overlooked when discussing Thoth is how to pronounce the name. We are used to pronouncing "th" as it is pronounced on "think", and don't question that pronunciation. I believe that the "t" and "h" are pronounced separately, making the name "t ho t he", meaning that the pyramid complex at Teotihuacan, was named after him.
