The Answer is Within You and Without You

Rev. Kat Carroll

I was born in the late 50’s at a time of post war turmoil and civil unrest. I had relatives in a war or returning from one. I even saw President JFK shot live on TV at 5 years old. It was a time of great chaos, much like we are experiencing now.

Music began coming out to change the consciousness of youth. Some was anti-war, lots of songs focused on love, and some where quite spiritual.

I have always been a fan of the Beatles but also Transcendental Meditation, mysticism and spirituality. It’s clear to see the influence that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had on the Fab Four in their music, especially for George Harrison and John Lennon. Meditation may have helped them to become even more creative.

There are articles on the benefits of meditation – Below is a link to an article on multiple studies about the benefits of meditation. Meditation and Prayer to Heal the World

There was something that struck me with the song Within You Without You. Enough to make me want to produce a new video to go with his message.  In it’s making, I realized how we have many of the same problems, but with new players.  However, this time, more people are aware of the corruption and the problems due to the internet. With enough people focusing on peace, we can change the world.

This is a bit of a political expose and artistic endeavor.  I hope you enjoy this song brought up to date with world events of the 21st Century.  But you’ll also see, that despite the turmoil, peace can be found, within you and without you.

Whatever the problem, love is the answer.

Rev. Kat Carroll
I've been interested in all things related to metaphysics, parapsychology, spirituality and anything related to space since childhood. I'm the kid who used to let the Jehova Witness and Mormans into the house so I could ask a million questions. I've always wanted to be of service and ended up working as an EMT and later in law enforcement. A family job transfer lead me to Washington State for 5 years where I went back to studying spiritual phenomenon and meeting some fascinating people. I've had several initiations, was taught energy healing and became certified in Reiki III over the final 3 years. I had a larger awakening and understanding of how it Reiki worked, remote sensing and more after returning to CA in 2001. I love researching and now writing and being a spokesperson for benevolent contact with NHIB through the practice of meditation. I experienced a spontaneous healing and not long after the "quickening" of 12/21/2012, began having more paranormal experiences, including seeing the UFOs, and orbs that fly over at night. I'm also a volunteer /Admin for ETLetsTalk and love teaching others how to make that connection that I know will one day lead us out of the darkness and into a brighter future.

  1. Denise, "the same as what Nazi's do" since you were Not there, you cannot judge. You too are using a soft violence on the situation to satisfy your comfort" which makes you appear to be above those who were fighting for their cause. So be careful what you believe is history.

  2. I'm not trying to be a smart ass but it troubles me when people call themselves mavericks, or reverends. Just think about it – how it sounds egotistical and separatist like one has something more special than another. It doesn't sound very "enlightened" to me. I say this with total genuineness because this platform censors people and so that means they block off any new ideas. Censorship is fascism at work. It is only justified when someone uses speech to threaten. That is the only reason I feel it is justified. But this platform does it just because someone says something new that the people here just cannot take in. The same as what Nazis do – they essentially use a soft violence on another to satisfy their comfort. I do not say this out of supremacy but out of wanting people to wake up and often those who think they are awake think they have "arrived" and have no more waking up to do. Well no, awakening is a life-long process.

    • I'm sure it's frustrating to feel that way. Especially when you nothing about the work a person put in to earn that title by a congregation. A reverend or minister is one who serves others, tries to help and uplift, provides healing, both physical and spiritual. Not sure why you would feel threatened by anything in my articles (of that's what you're suggesting). What are you doing with that comment? Does it help, hurt or cause doubt and distrust? Is it uplifting or devisive?

  3. Always playing My Sweet Lord and here comes the Sun.
Sung from the Soul as with this one.
    Really reaches into you.
He may have left us but his memory and music will always be with us.
