St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City was tricked into hosting a funeral mass for a transgender pretender who died earlier this month. The person who planned the funeral Mass only told the church the deceased was Catholic and intentionally hid that they were part of the transgender crowd.

From what I can tell Fr. Edward Dougherty, who performed the funeral, is not a regular pastor who serves at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

During the Mass one of the attendants referred to the deceased as “This whore. This great whore. St. Cecilia, Mother of all Whores!”:

Here’s more Mary Margaret Olohan:

“Per NYT: “Ceyenne Doroshow, who organized the funeral, said friends of Ms. Gentili — who died on Feb. 6 at 52 — had wanted the service to be at St. Patrick’s because “it is an icon, just like her.” But she added that she had not mentioned that Ms. Gentili was transgender when planning with the church. “I kind of kept it under wraps,” she said.””

The pastor for St. Patrick’s Cathedral has issued this statement saying they were only aware the deceased was Catholic and they are offering a Mass of reparations after the event:

  1. These people ARE the whores of Babylon and as such desecrate anything Holy and good. Even if you are not a Catholic or even Christian, no one could condone this type of behaviour in a Church. Imagine if this was attempted in a Synagogue?

  2. They Specifically chose the Historical Saint Patrick Cathedral because of its European Roots. It is an Historical Site & is protected as such, which means there will be arrest.

  3. Seems the churches need to meet with the planner and ask some more questions, except, had the church refused, they would have been sued. The deceased’s name alone was a tip off. Too bad the date wasn’t already booked.
