Spirits, Souls and the Divine Connection

If you’re reading this, in all likelihood you will already have some idea about the nature of Souls, Higher Selves, Spirits and possibly Monads.  Certainly, for me it seems these terms are often used interchangeably. In the case of Monads, I’ve found this is not usually explained well.

Increasing numbers of people are coming around to the fact that there is more to our existence than the material world we see.  We are all now on a Spiritual journey, waiting for guidance from our Higher Self, and the evolution and growth of our Soul for the betterment of humanity and creation.

Hopefully these words illustrate what I am alluding to; it sounds great but who or what exactly are these ethereal “entities” we call spirit, higher self and soul?

I would like to share my thoughts on what I believe the different facets of consciousness might be and how they might relate to each other and ultimately to the Divine.  I suspect that there will be many opinions and definitions circulating that do not tally with what I’m going to suggest.  However, that’s the beauty of our group discussions.  It shouldn’t really matter what labels we attach; I still want to listen to and learn from the perspective of others.

So, here goes … Humans are multi-dimensional beings.  The bits we can see are the material body, the vehicle.  Our “spirit” is the person we are at the present moment. It is the non-physical essence you know as yourself.  It is the you without the physical body.  It is indestructible, free from aging and deterioration.

Higher Self seems to be the next dimensional aspect. This is another facet or part of you that possesses all your best qualities. Your higher self is a version of you that you will merge with or become, from your present perspective.

It is a “being” that is both separate and part of you at the same time.  It has access to all that is knowable within our physical reality. Communicating with your higher self can therefore provide great understand and knowledge to you, in your current form.

To your Soul, you are like a child, one child of many it would seem.  The Soul maybe the essence of many “selves” for which it cares for and nurtures.  It is like a mother and a teacher where its goal is to help each aspect of “yourself” to merge with or evolve into its greatest potential.  Many “selves” may belong to a Soul group and there will be a direct connection between them. Hence, we talk about “Soul Mates”.

Monad maybe a group of many Souls. If awareness and perception are close to the Divine, we might call God.  It is that which supplies the life force, love and attention that you need to maintain existence.  The Monad steers and provides for your evolution within the “all that is”.

To me this picture of layered consciousness from the lower awareness up to the divine seems to be structured like a fractal.  The largest pattern is repeated over smaller scales as we descend.

All these “selves’ that exist are both part of you and separate from you.  As “you” move up through the layers you are approaching a oneness or Unity.  So, you might say that your Monad is “You” eons from now.

Evolution seems to be a process where the many fragments of consciousness merge together for an ever-greater perspective on all that is.  The Monads relationship to you is one of deep love and devotion for you are part of it and it is part of you.

At this point we might begin to realize there is a delicate balance between individuality and unity.  Individuality seems to be direct result of repeatedly dividing what was unity, and introducing free will to shake everything up.  I can suggest reading Itzhak Bentov’s “Stalking the Pendulum”; this is where it all began for me.

This explains why the ascension of humanity is such a slow process because at some level, we do not want to leave any one behind.

Following on from my thoughts above, I have previously read and heard in a number of places that there are people on this planet who do not have a Soul. Dolores Cannon on YouTube – ‘Back Drop’ people

Hmmm.  If consciousness is all pervasive this might seem unlikely. Perhaps this is explained by those individuals exercising their own free will to deny the existence of their own higher selves.  In this way they subject themselves to a very slow ascension.

There are plenty of sources on the web positing that the majority of people on planet Earth are NPCs (non-playing characters) or back drop people.  These are characters that are not really here to learn. They are placed into the game in an attempt to deflect higher vibrational humans off their path so that those humans can experience, learn and ascend.
