Things may get really weird and super woo at the Pisces New Moon March 18th.

This lunation falls in the late degrees of Pisces — a wild-card degree in the sign of mysteries, secrets, and the unknown.

Pisces is a sign with ocean-like depths, able to pick up on subtleties and tap into the unseen. It senses what moves beneath the surface long before anything becomes obvious.

The Sabian symbol for this Pisces New Moon is:
“Light breaking into many colors through a prism.”

The world may start to look a little different than it did before — your intuition is speaking louder, and you begin picking up on subtleties, noticing connections you can’t quite explain but somehow know are real.

🔮 The Prism Effect

This New Moon doesn’t display one clear path — it refracts — bending reality into many possibilities.

Light breaks into frequency, expanding your awareness of your own multidimensional perception. What once looked singular begins to reveal layers of awareness and new realms of possibility. A spectrum appears where you once saw only one color.

Pisces tells us that life isn’t as solid as it appears. Beneath the surface there’s a multidimensional web of energy, intuition, and connection — and at this lunation we’re able to sense more of it.

There’s a heightened awareness of the in-between spaces of reality — the subtle layers.

You may begin noticing patterns, connections, and mechanisms behind events that once seemed random. It’s as if you’re briefly seeing the architecture that this reality runs on — the patterns, rhythms, and invisible threads that weave everything together.

Mystical and scientific at the same time — like peering through a kaleidoscope of light, frequency, and awareness — revealing what has always existed just beyond the edge of ordinary perception.

⚡ Uranus Awakens the Senses

Uranus favorably aligns with this lunation, assisting the integration of your awakening senses with your intuition.

You may feel inspired — even a little in awe — at your discoveries, perceptions, and awareness. It’s like catching a glimpse of the mechanics of the universe… God… Creator… creation itself.

Moments may arrive where something clicks and you suddenly get it.

It can feel like genius arriving from the field — the ether — downloads of insight that seem to appear out of nowhere.

There’s a buzz in the air… a mystery… something otherworldly that may feel strange or difficult to explain.

On another level, there could be changes to your finances, values, or even your sense of self-worth. Resources may begin to flow more easily — more fluid, less forced — as adjustments are made in how you value yourself, knowing your worth and what you are willing to receive.

🧠 Mercury Pauses Before the Race

Mercury retrograde is aligned with the North Node during this lunation, suggesting that reflection on the past — even a bit of daydreaming — may hold clues to your future path. Sometimes the mind needs to wander before it finds the way forward.

Mercury turns direct just two days later at the Spring Equinox, meaning Mercury is hovering in this degree — exaggerating the energies here.

The Sabian Symbol for Mercury at this point is:
“The race begins — a jockey spurs his horse to great speed.”

And it feels especially fitting in this Year of the Fire Horse.

Ideas, plans, or communications that have been developing beneath the surface may suddenly surge forward once Mercury moves direct.

I also love the Sabian Symbol for the South Node in this lunation chart:
“A man making a futuristic drawing.”

It’s as if something’s already been mapped out, as you step into the blueprint of your future life that’s about to take off.

💫 Relationships in Motion

Juno in Capricorn also aligns with the New Moon and Uranus in Taurus, pointing to shifts in committed relationships, karmic contracts, or long-standing agreements.

There could be break-ups, breakthroughs, spontaneous connections, or sudden separations. Some situations may call for counseling or honest restructuring.

Relationships either breathe…
or break free from ruts.

❤️ Big Feelings & Honest Desires

Venus in Aries and Jupiter in Cancer square off, stirring big feelings and honest desires.

Emotional patterns may surface, especially around support, safety, feelings of belonging, and what you truly want from others.

Growth is possible here — but you’ll need to be true to yourself and trust your gut, which may take the courage to be seen as being a little selfish or indulgent.

If there is someone who supports your growth, this may be the time to reach out or initiate contact. New connections can be beneficial and have room to grow.

🌀 Something New Is Forming

Saturn and Neptune hover in the early degrees of Aries near this lunation, hinting that new systems, identities, branding, and structures are quietly gestating — even if they are not fully visible yet.

Something is forming beneath the surface, preparing to take shape in the coming months.

🌸 The Equinox Turning Point

March 20th marks the Spring Equinox and the Astrological New Year.

The Sun enters Aries.
Mercury stations direct.

Energy begins to turn outward.

Momentum returns.

🔑 The Eclipse Activation

Mars in Pisces now occupies the degree of the recent Lunar Eclipse — activating what was revealed or culminating then.

That Virgo Lunar Eclipse was a moment of revelation, and it carried a strong Pallas Athena signature — the asteroid associated with pattern recognition, strategy, and the ability to perceive the deeper design behind events.

Pallas works like a kind of cosmic intelligence — quietly gathering bits of information until suddenly the pattern becomes obvious. The scattered dots begin to connect. What once seemed random begins to reveal its underlying construction.

During that eclipse, something may have clicked for you — a realization, a truth you could no longer ignore, or the subtle awareness that a larger story was unfolding behind the scenes.

And now Mars arrives at that same degree.

Mars activates what the eclipse revealed, and what was once an observation begins to move. Those insights and realizations require action now.

In many ways, this echoes the symbolism of the Pisces New Moon itself — light breaking into many colors through a prism.

Just as a prism reveals the hidden spectrum within light, the eclipse may have revealed a hidden pattern within your life.

Mars now energizes that awareness.

Mars aligns with Jupiter in Cancer, adding a wave of confidence and emotional courage — encouraging you to act on your intuition and trust your gut instincts.

Growth and progress unfold through subtle and often unexplainable emotional intelligence rather than pure logic.

The eclipse revealed the pattern…
and Mars now provides the momentum to make a move.

✨ Trust Your Inner Compass

With the Sun also moving toward Neptune, intuition becomes a compass as some things are not as they appear.

You’re guided by inner knowing — not overthinking.

Tune in.

The path forward doesn’t always appear as a straight line.

Sometimes it appears as light…
breaking into many colors through a prism.
