Although it is mass produced, mass promoted, legal, and ingested by a multitude of people all over the world, most people don’t ever consider or understand the spiritual consequences of drinking alcohol.
Let’s begin by taking a look at the etymology of the Word alcohol. Etymology means the root of the word… where it is derived from.
The word “Alcohol” comes from the Arabic “al-kuhl” which means “BODY EATING SPIRIT”, and gives root origins to the English term for “ghoul”. In Middle Eastern folklore, a “ghoul” is an evil demon thought to eat human bodies, either as stolen corpses or as children.
The words “alembic” and “alcohol”, both metaphors for aqua vitae or “life water” and “spirit”, often refer to a distilled liquid that came from magical explorations in Middle Eastern alchemy.
In the words of writer and health enthusiast, Jason Christoff – “In alchemy, alcohol is used to extract the soul essence of an entity. Hence its’ use in extracting essences for essential oils, and the sterilization of medical instruments. By consuming alcohol into the body, it in effect extracts the very essence of the soul, allowing the body to be more susceptible to neighboring entities most of which are of low frequencies (why do you think we call certain alcoholic beverages “SPIRITS?”). That is why people who consume excessive amounts of alcohol often black out, not remembering what happened. This happens when the good soul (we were sent here with) leaves because the living conditions are too polluted and too traumatic to tolerate. The good soul jettisons the body, staying connected to a tether, and a dark entity takes the body for a joy ride around the block, often in a hedonistic and self-serving illogical rampage. Our bodies are cars for spirits. If one leaves, another can take the car for a ride. Essentially when someone goes dark after drinking alcohol or polluting themselves in many other ways, their body often becomes possessed by another entity.”
I became aware of this phenomenon years ago when I was given a spiritual vision. In this vision, I was transported as an observer above a popular bar and nightclub. Above the venue where a variety of ghoul-like entities. Inside the bar were people drinking alcohol, socializing, dancing, and so on. I watched as certain people became very drunk. I saw their souls, while connected through a thread, exited the body. I understood that the soul was leaving the body because of the great discomfort of being in a body highly intoxicated with alcohol. When the soul exited the body, other non-benevolent entities entered or latched on to their vacant shells. Once the entities took hold of the body, they used the body to play out all kinds of dark acts, such as violence, low-level sexual encounters, destructive behaviors, rape, and more.
Years later, while reading a book called Mans Eternal Quest, by Paramahansa Yogananda, this spiritual master clearly explained the exact same thing as I was shown in the vision.
I began to look back over my life and remember situations where I saw dark spirits hanging around people who had become very drunk. Let me elaborate a bit when I say I saw these entities … I have had the abilities of clairvoyance (the ability to perceive things beyond the natural range of the senses … which can include: ESP, extrasensory perception, sixth sense, psychic powers, second sight; telepathy, and more) , clairaudience ( the ability to perceive sounds or words from outside sources in the spirit world), and the experience of being a spiritual intuitive and empath since childhood. I have the ability to see energies and spiritual manifestations that most people don’t see. As I looked back over my life I could remember many incidents of encountering non-benevolent spirits in the presence of intoxicated individuals. I also have had experiences of looking into the eyes of a few people who were surely “possessed” by dark energies that were not their own.
I also remember a psychology course I once took. In part of this course, we studied advertising and the effects on humans. We looked at the advertising for alcohol. A master teacher of this subject illuminated the fact that most alcohol advertisements are embedded with hidden messages and images – not typically perceivable to the common sight, yet perceived through the subconscious. Knowing how powerful the subconscious is in our decisión making, feelings, reactions, beliefs, etc., the slick sales teams of alcohol (as well as tobacco and other products) used this sinister technique to trick us into buying their products and joining the societal cult of mental apathy and cultural obedience. Many of these hidden messages and images were extremely sexual – working to influence some of the basest urges and primal nature of humans. Let this example bring you to a place of curiosity and questioning. Why have the marketing teams felt the need to trick us and coerce us through subliminal messages to buy products that are harmful to the human body and to our soul?
How many times have you or someone you know, after becoming quite intoxicated with alcohol, behaved in a manner uncommon to them? Perhaps you experienced the changing of voice, violence, sexual promiscuity, ingesting of harmful substances, destruction to property, conflictual behavior, and other negative expressions. Consider these experiences and ask yourself – is this the manifestation of light, love, and positivity? Do these occurrences represent a path of consciousness and health?
It is a known by many that ingesting alcohol depresses the nervous system, kills brain cells, is toxic to the liver, weakens the immune system, and has many other harmful effects. We are taught that long-term alcohol use can lead to unwanted weight gain, diseases of the liver, lowering of intelligence, and negative effects on hormones. Drinking alcohol while pregnant can lead to birth defects, mental retardation, and deformities in the developing fetus. Yet still, it is mass promoted and supported by our mainstream culture. Have you ever considered that alcohol is a slick tool of the supporters of the Matrix (global mind control and oppression program) to keep people on a path of disempowerment and sickness?
We have to ask why is alcohol legal throughout most of the world, yet in many countries, and specifically the United States, psychedelics are illegal. The conscious and safe use of psychedelics or “visionary medicines”are known to assist in mind expansion, to initiate spiritual experiences where people have communed with the divine, healed numerous physical and spiritual ailments, increase intelligence, help to re-pattern the brain in a positive way, assist people in aligning with their soul’s purpose, and have inspired many people to create great works of art and other innovative creations. It seems that these substances would definitely be banned and discouraged if there truly is an agenda seeking to oppress the human potential and keep us “in the dark” regarding who we are as spiritual beings, our innate potential, and the path to empowerment.
As we strive to heal, awaken, and transform our world – I pray that we wise up to the dirty trick played upon humanity in regards to alcohol. Non-benevolent forces have wanted to keep us oppressed, disempowered, and asleep.
How many of us have seen families broken and lives lost because of alcohol and alcoholism?
Do you think it makes us smarter or healthier or overall better people?
It’s time to change things.
Let’s stand behind replacing the rampant abuse of alcohol with more health enhancing practices and activities –
and learn how to live awakened and empowered lives!
Before I close this writing, I want to share a little more about the history of the word alcohol. There have been some people who look into the etymology and discover this explanation –
“alcohol (n.) – 1540s (early 15c. as alcofol), “fine powder produced by sublimation,” from Medieval Latin alcohol “powdered ore of antimony,” from Arabic al-kuhul “kohl,” the fine metallic powder used to darken the eyelids, from kahala “to stain, paint.”
Paracelsus (1493-1541) used the word to refer to a fine powder but also a volatile liquid. By 1670s it was being used in English for “any sublimated substance, the pure spirit of anything,” including liquids. Sense of “intoxicating ingredient in strong liquor” is first recorded 1753, short for alcohol of wine, which was extended to “the intoxicating element in fermented liquors.” In organic chemistry, the word was extended 1850 to the class of compounds of the same type as this.”
Upon further research, we can find that in ancient Egypt, the eyes of both men and women were lined top and bottom with a thick black powder known as kohl, kajal, or mesdemet. The outlined eye resembled the almond-shaped eye of the falcon god Horus observed in the Eye of Horus glyph. It was believed that this shape invoked the god´s protection and warded off evil spirits.
Yet if one were to dig deeper, as a true scientist, researcher, or truth seeker does, you will also discover these interesting facts…
- Dr. Rachel Hajar, an accomplished modern-day editor, author and medical advisor, while researching an article on alcohol for her online medical journal, found additional meanings in ancient Arabic texts;
- Al kol: Genie or spirit that takes on varied shapes or a supernatural creature in Arabic mythology.
- Al kol: Any drug or substance that takes away the mind or covers it.”
- The word alcohol is also linked to the fixed star in astronomy known as Algol- also known as “the Demon’s head.”
- The current Arabic name for alcohol (ethanol) is الغول al-ġawl – properly meaning “spirit” or “demon”.
It is not a coincidence that alcohol has often been referred to as spirits. There is a deep history behind this intoxicating substance. There are layers of information throughout our culture, sometimes we have to look below the surface of things to find the fullness of truth. I encourage you to deeply consider the information shared here, look at the effects of alcohol in your life, in the lives of the people you know, and in society at large. Make conscious, informed, and health enhancing decisions. The more people who awaken to truth and seek health and liberation from mind control agendas, the more likely we are to make positive changes and co-create a world we feel good about living in.

Just about every time I used to drink. I blacked out and usually got into fights or have a lot of one night stands. When you were describing yourself and abilities, you basically described me, to a, “T.”
How much alcohol does it take to impact/affect a person? The answer comes from the church; all it takes is to touch your lips to the substance. This is why they have church members line up and “drink the blood of Christ” (i,e. touch alcohol with their lips. They know, they are in the business of claiming the spirit of followers. It is a Satanic ritual, but followers are too brainwashed to see how they have been had; they beLIEve they are pleasing GOD by doing this ritual *drinking the blood of the King of the Jew/Jesus Christ. The Bible is full of examples of blood sacrifices including GOD asking Abraham to kill his own son… No benevolent God would require blood sacrifices or genocide every nation on the planet (all but one Jewish family Noah); the great flood. It’s time to wake up to the scams of Religion and their false-gods. Good luck everyone.
hey you mentioned
The good soul jettisons the body, staying connected to a tether, and a dark entity takes the body for a joy ride around the block, often in a hedonistic and self-serving illogical rampage
but I have noticed that when people are drunk they speak their heart out whatever emotion is buried comes up like if a person has buried anger or rage that comes up if a person has a heartbreak then they cry or tell emotional stories to the ppl around…well it might be possible that the entities get attached not just because of alcohol consumption but maybe because of the negative emotions that are inside the person. These negative emotions attract these entities We all have lived many lifetimes on earth and have had lifetimes including the present one where we all have faced shame guilt or sadness at one point we can say those emotions come out with the help of alcohol and since most of us have been conditioned to hide our emotions after living for some years we end up with a big heap of these emotions burried inside our heart. So most of the ppl commit henious crimes under its influence. Also since alcohol shuts the “conscious” mind or the ego which is good but most of the people are not even connected to their higher selves which can protect and prevent them from causing the damage hence shutting of ego but with no protection from higher selves attracts the negative entities.
I just thought it this way what do you all think about this?
I agree with the basis of what you are saying, I feel that life is about balance. No matter what drug you are putting into your body, taking your body to a state of over indulgence,(gluttony being a deadly sin!), the imbalance leaves your vessel open to attachments of all sorts. Trying to find love or fill that space which should be filled with love, with anything but love is giving your body an imbalance open to negative energy. Healing anyone with a host of issues, prescription medication, drugs, sugar, caffeine, food etc etc etc there are is a whole host of negative energy which can easily be healed and resolved by people who know how, or by positive lifestyle change by the individual. Balance is about each of us finding the right pathway in our life spiritually, not being told not to do one thing or another in order to obtain spiritual enlightenment. I also am a great believer in ancestral lineage and being aware of the ritual of sacred at alcohol within the Celtic pathways. Protecting our energy, particularly for Empaths, or emotionally evolved and in tune individuals, is vital. Something which would have been taught but the rise of organised religion preaching from a space of fear and control has stopped that; fortunately moving forward now on that front 🙂 So I personally try to help people live their lives in balance and in joy & love. Great message. I always try to give my messages with a filter of love and postivity, to ensure that I don’t feed into the fear vibration, but there is a great deal of good stuff here. Very interesting. 🙂
I suffered from alcoholism and really relate to this article. I’ve always been spiritual. My life path number is 7. After a traumatic event I became very dependent on alcohol and drugs. I always blacked out and my friends would tell me about the dangerous and out of character things I’d done the following day. To those suffering I say you need to find peace. Peace with yourself and peace with your past.
As a recovered Soul-Spirit from alcoholism with my birthday with AA back in January 6, 1992, I can witness this article to it’s veracity.
STEP 11, after you have come to acknowledge what happened, we have had a spiritual awakening.
That awakening with STEP 11, leads to STEP 12.
Giving back to love and service to others, in passion for life and compassion to others for those that still suffer.
A good friend of mine, not an alcoholic, had read the 3rd version big book of AA, and said, even though I am not an alcoholic, what I read on how to deal with alcoholism, is a wonderful prescription on how to live and spiritual life, in love, harmony and balance with all life.
It’s like duh stuff!
If you truly wanna be free, then learn to think for yourself critically, about the word we live in, and those who try and hijack how we express ourselves, based on our Soul-Spirit identity, of those who try and influence us.
What are your thoughts on raw honey mead, organic raw wine, and raw organic kombucha beverages?
Thank you Tye Hampton for telling us the nightmare of your walk with alcohol. Congratulations on getting healing.
Your welcome. Thank you for takng time to read my long story. There is actually much much more to it but, I did not want to bore readers with too many details, it was already too long, for this forum. Thanks again, to all. May the blessings be
Thank you for this wonderful discussion. I was blessed to be raised in a teetotaler home. There was never a single drop of alcohol in my life. My grandmother lovingly schooled me in personal ethics which included the evils of drink. After leaving home I never started. I am 69 now and still have not imbibed. My son lost his wife and his children’s mother to alcoholism. It was indeed obvious that an evil spirit possessed her and drove her to abase herself in horrifying ways and break her children’s hearts and lose their respect permanently, Ten years later he still has sole custody and she never became her old self. I cannot stand to be around people I know if they have been drinking. It is not them anymore and it’s obvious if they try to talk with you, that you are having an interchange with a different being, something repellent, something selfish and greedy and debased.
Thank you very much, Tye A Hampton, for your brutal honesty. It suits you to present your story this way and I mean it in the most positive sense. I can feel that no nonsense vibe strongly in you, slightly gloomy like Eyoor, a character in Winnie the Pooh stories. I’ve never had a problem with alcohol, it’s seldom present in my thoughts.
Just saying it as it is, I like that! Specially when it’s related to hitting rock bottom, pun intended. That part of jumping out of the car is gruesome, but it shows how deep your dive in “what’s the matter? is,
as I perceive it. You’ve changed what feels like an empty waste of life into a fullness of insight, while being a living example to others, now living in sobriety and with a good heart. Thank you for sharing your experience with alcohol with us, in such honesty!
Edward & Marian, thank you for the kind words, its hard to tell the story but, if it helps someone, somewhere, some time, to avoid such consequences, it is well worth it. Thanks to PFC staff for providing the forum, opportunity, and for posting it!
Superb article, very genuine information and very interesting and useful indeed. Thank you so much!
Take it from someone whom once lived in the lifestyle described above, massive alcohol consumption is not just a bad, dangerous thing, it leads to clinical depression, and often, suicide attempts (sometimes termination, though I hesitate to call it ‘success’). I am going to be brutally honest here because I have been there, walkng that night of darkness for the soul… Please bear with me as I tell my tale maybe, it will help someone out there….
I was a heavy drinker from 1977 onward, I went through AA and many attempts to quit but, the drink, always drew me back into the lifestyle of partying, sometimes near falling down drunk four or five nights a week and just drinkng socially, other nights/days. I had my bouts of brief abstinence, and my binges, my bargains with God, countless women I hardly recall in drunken sexual encounters, car accidents, you nane it, it was, is,, a viscious life, leading to massive self loathng and depressions…. This ultimateky came to a head, as it does for most when they hit “rock bottom” as it is called…
June 17, 1994 drunk out of my skull, a failed marriage ending, a failing business ongoing, and failed seconday relationship in progress of ending. After consuming 35-40 twelve ounce mugs/cans of beer in a five or six hour period, I got into a situation which long story short, emotionally discharged, in opening a car door at in excess of 70mph and exiting the vehicle in an attempted suicide. After impacting the pavement and rollng over a hundred feet (maybe 300 not sure) I had road rash over 70% of my body, broke both bones of my lower left leg leaving my foot held on only by muscle tendons and skin with the broken bones penetrating the skin massively, broje my wrist and right hand in several places, I was in bad shape….requiring by the way reconstructive plastic surgery to my face which was torn down both sides and across my forehead so one could literally luft and move the skin around, my head was as large as a basketball from the swelling… This was bad, short of death certainly, but, in the weeks and months ahead, I wish I had died many times over.
Frm my experiences with alcohol, and this horrifying experience, I can assure you of several things; First it hurt like hell despite, my being drunk out of my mind and hurt worse later, my battered body, from rolling down asphalt at that speed, to this day has never properly healed, never will; Second, had I not been that drunk, I never would have survived yes but, albeit the fact that, had I not, been that drunk, I never would have been in that situation or attempted suicide; Third, over the years trying to go cold turkey quitting alcohol after living the alcoholic (admitted by most or not but if you drink an alcoholic beverage or two, once a week, you are one), does not work in most cases and only leads to resumption of the behavior and ultimately at the exact level one quit; Fourth, it will ultimately I can guarantee you, lead to nothing good; Fifth, yes, there are studies I have repeatedly read that show VERY MINOR consumption of alcohol can be beneficial to the body but by minor, in a daily context think of the lowest alcohol per volume ie: like wine, and drinkng just a shot glass of wine, a day, and no not shots of hard liquor lol; Finally, short of prohibition of alcohol which I’d support because I think it the most dangerous substance ever created by man, if one after a very very lng period of years of abstinence to clean ones system can then, and this is admittedly probably one of the hardest things to do, can find,, a balance between a rare consumption of ONE alcohol containing beverage in a week, month, or year, and living a sober lifestyle the rest of the time, one can find a new life, one that has both the occasional weekly monthly or annual ‘single alcoholic beverage’ to satiate those cravings, and yet, otherwise lead a life of , alcohol sobriety, or if one can, live a life of compkete sobriety (though most alcoholics cannot and relapse) one will find a new life, well worth living, free if alcoholic depression and repeating the sane behavior hat caused the alcohol related depression and associated life problems.
That last part, for me, first took, a period of years of complete alcohol abstinence and sobriety to acheive, detoxifying my body (and remembering a lot of things blacked out, I wish I could undo, it takes YEARS, at least in my case after decades of drink but, one might accomplish it in say five, to clean alcohol out your system and regain lost memories) but, ultimately is leading a life full of joy and lacking any forms of depression I suffered while leading the life ‘in the fast lane’ of nightly alcohol overconsumption.
For those trapped in that life still, I tell you, honestly and from my heart, there is help and hope beyond that drink, it is not easy to quit or to learn what the meaning of the word “moderation” is but, once you do quit and learn it, there is a life that is far better than the one you lead today, waiting for you, with a lot of help from above. I hope you, or somene you know, can learn from my experience, I don’t hide it because it is a huge matter of public record, and well known story but, I do not usually retell it in such a public forum. It is my hope though, I can save even one person from going through anything like what I did beginning in 77 then hitting rock bottom in 94 and living the following nearly a decade of nightmare legally and medically I did (medically to this day), then it is worthwhile to tell my story albeit in its briefest form, herein for all to read. Please if you know of someone who is like, I once was, tell my story to them, it may help them to avoid what I lived.
I can also tell however, after that nightmare, almost scripted like fated series of events, in my later years now, I have found all the love and everything in life that is joyous (and no I am far from wealthy) that lufe can offer, in the simplest of things, that I most often completely overlooked ‘in the life’. A spiritual awakening, coming with that long abstinence (coincidentally 13yrs celibacy as well), has led me to find the happiness that always eluded me while reaching for the next drink, I’ve in fact, found a lets say the, perfect,, future partner, that is a god send in my life, and has made all the difference recently in my life which I never,, could have found while drinking. So there is hope and there can be happiness outside of the alcoholic lifestyle: spiritually emotionally physically and yes, financially be ayse it costs a lot to drink (in countless ways), but, you have to put as much, more in fact, effort, into living sober, than you do, in living that lifestyle of drunkeness and debauchery. It is hard friends but, the rewards are so much more than alcoholism provides, I cannot begin to describe to you, in so short a post. So I merely say, been there, done that, I highly recommend against takng that path, may you find your happiness outside alcoholism and the drunken life, and if you are sincere, I am certain, God will show you the way, though it might take a long time to prove your sincerity…. Not all of us are struck down suddenly like Saul of the new testament and changed in a moment, it sometimes takes years, and a life altering event to change everything, I hope it does not, for you, or someone you care about that may be living that ‘wasted’ life now. May you, fund your way free of the demons of alcohol.
May the blessings be. Victory to the forces of Heaven and Light.
Thank you Tye Hampton for sharing such personal and heartfelt story!
