PTSD in the Great Awakening and What You Can Do About It
Rev Kat Carroll
I wanted to share a Rumble video with Ricardo Bosi, The leader of Australia One. This video published on Jan 4th and he talks about events that cause PTSD, not just from war and violence, but things we witness or are involved with every day that can be damaging to our psyche and body.
“Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a condition that can develop following a traumatic event that threatens your safety. Many people associate PTSD with battle-scarred soldiers—and military combat is the most common cause in men. But any overwhelming or emotionally-shattering experience can lead to PTSD—especially if the event feels unpredictable and uncontrollable. “

The fight or flight response is one where the body produces stress hormones helpful in defending ourselves. Those in the military who’ve experienced the ravages of war is only one example. Being in an abusive relationship can cause PTSD and other problems for the victim. First Responders need to deal with the emotions involved in their daily line of work. Even witnessing a traumatic event can scar your soul if unprepared.
The daily news and world views have been affecting us, even if we don’t experience it directly. Your body doesn’t know the difference between being in battle or just watching a show. I just heard of someone who could no longer take the mental abuse and chose to check out of the Matrix. World events can shake us to our core sometimes leading us to do things we would normally not consider.
Model from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat PTSD (Wikipedia) The above diagram depicts how emotions, thoughts, and behaviors all influence each other. The triangle in the middle represents CBT’s tenet that all humans’ core beliefs can be summed up in three categories: self, others, future.
Cortisol and adrenalin are the stress hormones that could help you in an emergency, but constant exposure to stressful events that you have no control over can damage your immune system, your ability to focus and complete tasks or lead to severe and debilitating depression. PTSD can ruin your sleep cycle sending you spiraling further since only in deep sleep can your body and mind rest and heal.
What happens when the threat is not physical and only emotionally in nature? What if you are simply watching the news, or digging into information to share as a researcher, or patriot trying to wake up others to what’s been happening? We may often feel there is nothing we can do, but it’s part of our nature to want to fix problems and feel like we are in control. Being unable to do so is stressful, unless of course you’re a narcissist or psychopath who enjoys watching or creating situations that are painful to others. They too feel a deep seated need to be in control, but necessarily for the right reasons.
I’m not saying everyone doing this work will succumb to PTSD as each of us is wired differently. For myself, I was involved in over 15 years in law enforcement, as an EMT in ambulance work and dispatching for the police. It can make or break you. I too was broken for a short time, until I got back to meditation and looking for the positive things in my life.

What can we do about it?
You’ve heard it before, but I feel it’s important to state how healing it is to get out in nature, play with animals, and simply focus on the good things in the world. We can’t save anyone if we ourselves are falling apart and trapped in traumatic memories of the past. The HeartMath Institute has been my “go to” place for learning to quiet the monkey mind. Their resources and apps allow you to monitor Global Consciousness, and send healing around the world by participating in their global meditations.
In the early 1990’s, HeartMath Institute researchers discovered the state of personal heart coherence and its incredible harmonizing effect on the entire body. Practicing heart coherence can help you create more balance and cooperation between your heart, mind, and emotions, for significantly less stress, clearer thinking, and deeper connection with yourself and others.
In this video we simply explain the science of personal heart coherence, its many benefits, and an effective practice you can apply in your daily life to create more coherence.
