The Ministry of Magic, with its velvet-gloved authoritarianism and denial of Voldemort’s return, mirrors today’s Ministry of Truth dynamics playing out across social media. But instead of owls and parchment, we now have AI feeds, shadow bans, and neural reprogramming protocols.

Hogwarts, which was meant to be a sanctuary of learning and spiritual power, becomes a pipeline for approved knowledge and curated empowerment. Real rebels (like Luna Lovegood or Dumbledore’s Army) operate in secret, threatened with expulsion or punishment for pursuing forbidden truths, or practicing Defense Against the Dark Arts (so they went underground like many truth seekers and patriots).
Similarly, today’s seekers risk deplatforming, ridicule, or even legal targeting for sharing unapproved narratives about consciousness, extraterrestrial life, or elite control structures.
Don’t Ascend: The Soul Trap Argument

Do not submit.” It echoes ideas from spiritual renegades and near-death experiencers who warn that the tunnel of light, long believed to be a path to higher realms, may actually be a soul recycling trap.
