Returning to the Original Pattern:
A Time of Reconciliation
Rev. Kat Carroll
About a 3 minute read
There is a feeling in the air lately—subtle, but persistent, that something long out of alignment is beginning to turn back toward its original design.
In astrology, there is a concept known as the Thema Mundi, the “Theme of the World.” It represents the theoretical birth chart of the universe—the moment of perfect alignment, where each planetary force resides in its optimal placement. A kind of cosmic blueprint. A perfect design.
And what if… what we are witnessing now is not something entirely new, but a return?
A re-alignment… and remembering.
Not all at once, of course. More like a rolling stadium wave; one section rises, then another, then another. Some perceive these energetic waves early. Others feel it later. But the movement is already underway.
Today, April 2, is recognized as National Reconciliation Day—a day centered on forgiveness, healing, and the restoration of harmony. A day that reminds us that peace is not something imposed from the outside, but something rebuilt from within… one relationship, one conversation, one act of compassion at a time.
And perhaps that’s no coincidence. Because what is reconciliation, if not a return to wholeness?
What is forgiveness, if not the restoration of a pattern that was once unbroken?
It echoes something much older—something carried through the teachings of Christ—not simply as a historical figure, but as a living frequency of awareness: compassion, unity, and love made manifest.
A Christed Consciousness.
And if we look to scripture, there is a passage that feels particularly relevant in times like these:
“It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses… to the ends of the earth.”
— Acts 1:7–8
There is a humility in those words. A reminder that while we may sense the shift, we are not in control its timing.
We are here to witness it. And perhaps… to embody it.
The very next chapter offers a powerful image:
“Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house… They saw tongues like flames of fire that came to rest on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues…”
— Acts 2:2–4
And then something remarkable happens:
“…each one heard them speaking his own language.”
— Acts 2:6
Q has often told us that we are watching a show, to bring popcorn. And I find it humorous that one of the most meaningful sections of the bible for this day is “Acts”!
But in all seriousness. We are striving for unity; to have one language we can all understand from the heart. Perhaps a modern-day Pentecost event will bring clarity, perhaps telepathy, or a specific frequency we embody once Holy Spirit blesses, not just the few, but the world.
Different voices. One understanding.
Different people. One message.
Isn’t that what reconciliation looks like? Not uniformity—but unity.
Not sameness—but coherence.
We are living in a time where divisions are easy to see—political, cultural, ideological. It’s tempting to believe that everything is fractured beyond repair. That every leader is simply another face on the same coin.
And yet… what if there is more at play?
What if even those on the world stage—whether we agree with them or not—are part of a larger unfolding? Guided, nudged, or positioned within a story much bigger than any one person, or that we can currently comprehend?
Not perfect. Not always clear. But moving, nonetheless.
It raises a question that feels both simple and profound:
What if the end goal is not domination, as some fear… but reconciliation?
Not one nation above another—but a world remembering its shared origin.
I was noticing the Presidential flag on a speech last night. The phrase written in Latin is,
“e pluribus unum” – One out of many. The motto of the United States.
“One nation under God” has long been a familiar phrase. But what if that idea expands—not politically, but spiritually—into something greater? One World inspired by God.
One humanity… aligned not by force, but by awareness, and coherence. By choice.
By the quiet recognition that we are more connected than we’ve been led to believe; All fractals of the One who created us.
If that is where we are headed once again, then it makes sense that the path would take time. That it would move in waves. That some would see it before others.
And perhaps that is where we find ourselves now—not at the end, but somewhere in the rising motion of it.
So we watch.
We listen.
We discern.
We bear witness to the changes taking place at this time.
And when the moment calls for it, we choose to respond—not with fear or division, but with the very qualities that restore balance: compassion, forgiveness, and a willingness to see beyond the surface.
Because if this truly is a return to the original pattern… then perhaps the universal language is love.
Then reconciliation isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s the work of our time.
And yes… 🍿
We are watching the Acts unfold.
