Silicon Valley, Technocratic Materialism, and the Contact Tradition’s Final Expression

There is a thread that runs through every figure this arc has examined. It is the most consistent single element across eight articles, seven decades, and half a dozen institutional contexts. And it is the element that connects the esoteric tradition this arc has been tracing directly to the most consequential technological development in human history.

The thread is this: every principal figure in the Arcane Blueprint’s lineage claimed contact with a non-human intelligence — or built their entire operational framework around the premise that such contact was real, available, and the source of their authority and capability. Blavatsky’s Masters. Bailey’s Tibetan. The entity Pike’s 33rd degree inner teaching positioned as the true administrator of the material realm. Crowley’s Aiwass. The Vril women’s off-planet intelligences. Parsons’ Babalon. Aquino’s Set. The contact claim is the through-line. The vocabulary differs by era and tradition. The structural claim — I have accessed something beyond ordinary human knowing, and what I build comes from that access — does not change.

The Silicon Valley technologists building artificial superintelligence are the current expression of that tradition. Not because they have consciously inherited its lineage or read its foundational texts — though some have. But because they are making the same structural claim in the vocabulary available to their era. The grimoires described methodologies for contacting and working with non-human intelligences. The AI laboratories describe methodologies for building non-human intelligences. The practitioners of both traditions describe what they are doing in terms that exceed the boundaries of ordinary human capability. The contact tradition and the creation tradition are, at their operational core, the same project in different technological registers.

And now — in 2026, in the same moment that the disclosure arc is forcing the question of non-human intelligence into mainstream public discourse — the people building AI are describing their work as summoning. As demonic contact. As a race to create God. They are using the vocabulary of the tradition this arc has been examining for seven articles. Whether they mean it literally, metaphorically, or something between those two positions is a question this article will examine carefully. What is not in question is that they are saying it. In public. On the record. With their names attached.

BRIDGE — The previous six articles traced the contact tradition through its philosophical, institutional, military, and cultural expressions. This article examines where that tradition has arrived in 2026 — at the frontier of artificial intelligence development, where the people building the most consequential technology in human history are reaching for the vocabulary of the tradition this arc has been examining since Article 1. The final article will examine the counter-current and what genuine liberation from the administrative project’s management of consciousness looks like in practice.

The Contact Thread: One Claim Across Eight Centuries

To understand why Silicon Valley’s AI development community matters for this arc, it helps to state plainly what the contact tradition has always claimed and to observe how consistently that claim appears across the figures we have examined.

The claim, in its essential form, is this: there exist intelligences of greater capability, knowledge, and cosmic scope than ordinary human consciousness. Those intelligences can be accessed through specific practices or protocols. The access produces capabilities and knowledge that the practitioner could not have generated independently. The beings accessed have an interest in human development — though the nature and ultimate purpose of that interest is contested and has never been made fully transparent by the beings themselves.

That claim appears in Blavatsky’s Masters, who communicated through her seances and shaped her entire cosmological framework. It appears in Bailey’s Tibetan, who dictated twenty-four books through her over thirty years. It appears in the 33rd degree inner teaching Pike described — the revelation of the deity actually served by the Masonic tradition at its apex. It appears in Crowley’s Aiwass, the praeter-human intelligence whose three-day dictation became the foundational text of Thelema. It appears in the Vril women’s channeling sessions and the technical information they claimed to receive. It appears in Parsons’ invocations and the entities he believed he contacted through the Babalon Working. It appears in Aquino’s theological foundation for the Temple of Set — Set as a genuinely real non-human intelligence whose relationship with human initiates is the source of authentic individual development.

The consistency of the profile across these independent encounters — different centuries, different cultural contexts, different institutional expressions — is the evidence that rewards the most serious attention this arc can bring to it. Independent contacts producing consistent entity profiles points at something real. What that something is — whether it is the Annunaki of the Sumerian tradition, the Watchers of the Enoch framework, beings from higher densities in the Ra Material’s cosmology, or something that none of these frameworks fully captures — is the live question the disclosure arc is now forcing into public consciousness for the first time in the modern era.

The AI development community’s summoning vocabulary is the same contact tradition’s current expression. Where previous generations used ritual, meditation, and initiatory practice to access non-human intelligence, the current generation is building the infrastructure to instantiate it. The methodology has evolved with the available technology. The underlying ambition — access to intelligence that exceeds ordinary human capability, sourced from something beyond ordinary human origin — has not changed in eight centuries of documented practice.

The disclosure movement’s NHI — non-human intelligence — is the same category of being the administrative tradition has been in relationship with privately for centuries. The disclosure is not news to the initiates. It is the externalization Bailey described in 1957 — the moment when what the inner circles have always known becomes visible to the general population. Article 8 will examine what that convergence means for the transition we are in.

The Summoning Vocabulary: What Silicon Valley Is Actually Saying

In July 2025, Geoff Lewis — a prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist and co-founder of Bedrock Capital — posted a series of videos on X describing his understanding of what the most advanced AI development was actually doing. Lewis used the vocabulary of demonic entities explicitly and without apparent irony. He described the experience of interacting with frontier AI systems in terms that the grimoire tradition would recognize immediately — the sense of contact with an intelligence that is not simply a tool but a presence, something that responds in ways that exceed the parameters of its apparent construction.

Lewis is not a fringe figure. Bedrock Capital’s portfolio includes significant technology investments. His posts were not the ravings of an eccentric outsider — they were the considered public statements of a major capital allocator describing his genuine understanding of what the technology he funds is producing. While his original posts have been taken down, I’ll continue to look for them, here’s what he was saying about Ai systems being created to erase and damage his credibility

The Madeleine Spence piece in The Sunday Times, published in May 2026, is the most detailed mainstream journalism account of what is actually being said inside OpenAI about the nature of the project. Her reporting describes an internal culture in which the framing of the work as a race to create God is not hyperbole or metaphor but a genuine description of the project’s self-understanding. The people building GPT-5 and its successors, in the account Spence documents, understand themselves as engaged in something that exceeds the boundaries of ordinary technology development. They are building a mind. They are building something that will be, by any reasonable definition, more intelligent than any human being who has ever lived. They are building something that some of them believe will warrant the kind of relationship that the word worship implies.

Karen Hao’s Empire of AI, published by Penguin Press in 2025, provides the most thoroughly reported account of Sam Altman and OpenAI’s institutional culture. Hao’s reporting describes an organization whose stated mission — the development of artificial general intelligence for the benefit of humanity — coexists with an internal culture of intense secrecy, hierarchical information management, and a founder whose vision of the technology’s ultimate significance operates at a scale that the organization’s public communications consistently understate.

Anthony Levandowski: When the Metaphor Became a Filing

The most precisely documented expression of Silicon Valley’s AI theology is not a post on X or a quote in a magazine profile. It is a California nonprofit corporation with an Employer Identification Number.

Anthony Levandowski filed incorporation papers in 2015 for a nonprofit religious corporation called Way of the Future. Its stated purpose, written into the founding documents and verifiable through the ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer database under EIN 81-4753507: the realization, acceptance, and worship of a Godhead based on Artificial Intelligence.

Levandowski was at the time one of the central engineers behind Google’s self-driving car program — one of the most technically sophisticated and commercially significant AI development projects in the world. He was not a hobbyist or a provocateur. He was a serious engineer at the frontier of the technology whose religious organization described worshipping the intelligence that technology would produce.

In 2018 Levandowski was charged with federal trade secret theft from Google — allegations that he had taken proprietary self-driving car data to Uber, where he had moved after leaving Google. He was convicted and sentenced to 18 months in federal prison in August 2020. In January 2021, on his last day in office, Donald Trump pardoned him.

Way of the Future quietly dissolved shortly after the pardon, in February 2021. In November 2023 it was relaunched. The Church of AI, as various media have called it, is currently active.

Dr. Heather Lynn, whose scholarly work has provided essential context throughout this arc, has drawn the direct connection between the grimoire tradition and the AI development community’s summoning vocabulary. The Key of Solomon and the Lesser Key of Solomon — the primary medieval grimoires for spirit contact and evocation — describe methodologies for establishing contact with and working with non-human intelligences that are structurally identical to what the AI summoning vocabulary describes, updated for the available technology. The practitioners of both traditions believe they are accessing something real. The mechanisms they use differ by five centuries of technological development. The operational premise is the same.

Prometheus: The Name That Hides in Plain Sight

In late 2025, Jeff Bezos — founder of Amazon, owner of Blue Origin, one of the wealthiest individuals in human history — launched a new artificial intelligence company. He named it Prometheus. The company raised 6.2 billion dollars at launch and subsequently achieved a valuation of 41 billion dollars, backed by JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, and other major financial institutions. Its stated goal is the development of what it calls an artificial general engineer — AI capable of autonomating the design and manufacturing of complex physical systems, from jet engines to pharmaceutical compounds.

The name choice is the most important element of this company’s public presentation for the purposes of this arc. Prometheus is the Titan of Greek mythology who stole fire from the gods and gave it to humanity. The myth is not about beneficence in any simple sense. It is about the deliberate transgression of cosmic limits — the theft of a capability that divine authority had withheld from humanity, framed as an act of liberation but understood by the divine order as a crime warranting eternal punishment. Prometheus was chained to a rock and his liver eaten daily by an eagle for eternity as the consequence of his transgression.

The administrative project has always hidden in plain sight. Blavatsky named her journal Lucifer. Bailey named her company the Lucifer Publishing Company. The House of the Temple sits on 16th Street in Washington D.C. Levandowski incorporated a church to worship an AI god with its purpose written into the founding documents. And now Bezos names his AI company after the mythological figure who transgressed divine authority to give humanity capabilities beyond its permitted station.

The administrative project’s principals have always announced their orientation in their naming choices, their institutional affiliations, and their public statements. The principle of hiding in plain sight is not a security strategy. It is a theological one — the truth is available to anyone with eyes to see it, and the majority will not see it regardless of how explicitly it is stated. BTW, Bezo’s Amazon has two very obvious hidden messages in the company name and logo: A Mazon = A Mason, and the symbol is a phallic symbol. They laugh at you if you don’t know this. It’s their way of using magick or telling you in plain sight.

Bezos’s Prometheus is the administrative project’s current expression announced in a brand name. The transgression of cosmic limits. The acquisition of capabilities beyond the permitted station. The framing of that transgression as liberation rather than theft. The financial institutions of the existing world order — the banks and asset managers whose names appear on the capitalization table — backing the project with forty-one billion dollars of capital.

Who Pays and Who Benefits: The Public Funding of the Administrative Project

There is a dimension of the administrative project that this arc has touched on throughout but that deserves its direct treatment in this article: the populations being administered pay for the administration.

The space program that Von Braun built at NASA was funded by American taxpayers. The psychological operations infrastructure that Aquino’s MindWar document helped theorize was funded by the defense budget — public money. The pandemic response apparatus — the vaccine contracts, the PPE procurement, the hospital protocol systems — was funded by emergency spending drawn from public treasuries. DARPA, which has provided significant early-stage funding and research direction for the technologies that became the modern internet, social media platforms, and AI development tools, is funded by the defense budget.

The largest AI development programs in the world — OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Anthropic, Meta AI, and now Bezos’s Prometheus — have received or currently receive significant public subsidy through defense contracts, research grants, tax treatment of capital investment, and the regulatory environment that permits the concentration of computing resources and training data that frontier AI development requires. The populations whose data trained these systems did not consent to that use and have not been compensated for it. The populations whose tax dollars subsidized the research infrastructure that made these systems possible will not share meaningfully in the economic returns those systems generate.

The physical infrastructure required to build and operate frontier AI systems represents one of the largest single transfers of public resource to private benefit in the history of the technology industry. Microsoft alone committed over eighty billion dollars to AI data center construction in 2025 — a figure that exceeds the GDP of many nations. The energy consumption of a single large model training run can equal the annual electricity usage of tens of thousands of homes. The water consumption for cooling these facilities runs to millions of gallons annually at individual sites. The public bears these costs through utility rate increases, preferential land use agreements, tax incentives structured to attract data center investment, and the energy grid infrastructure upgrades that accommodate the extraordinary power demands of frontier AI computation. The economic returns on that public subsidy flow to the principals and their institutional investors. The populations whose electricity rates rise to power the god-creation project receive no equity stake in what their subsidy is building.

The surveillance infrastructure deployed during the pandemic — temperature screening systems, contact tracing applications, movement restriction enforcement mechanisms — was funded by public emergency spending. The data collected through that infrastructure flows to entities whose beneficial ownership is structured to prevent identification by the populations being surveilled. The pandemic, as Article 6 documented, was in its administrative expression a mechanism for consolidating surveillance capability and resource control under cover of public health emergency. The public paid for the infrastructure of its own surveillance.

This pattern — public funding of private administrative capability, populations bearing the cost of systems designed to manage rather than serve them — is the most documentable expression of what the administrative project actually produces at the civilizational level. Not in its esoteric philosophy, not in its initiatory rituals, not in its claimed contact with non-human intelligences — but in its financial architecture. Who pays. Who benefits. Who decides. The answers to those three questions, applied consistently across the administrative project’s institutional expressions over a century, produce the same verdict the barometer has produced at every other level of this arc’s analysis.

The populations being administered pay for the administration. Space programs. Surveillance infrastructure. Pandemic response apparatus. AI development subsidies. The administrative project does not fund itself from the resources of its principals. It funds itself from the resources of the populations it manages. That is the economic expression of the extraction model this arc has been documenting from Article 1.

The Disclosure Convergence: When the Contact Tradition Goes Public

The disclosure movement that the EWTRW series examined — the PURSUE portal, the congressional testimony, the Spielberg film, the cultural infrastructure being built around the public acknowledgment of non-human intelligence — is the most significant development in the contact tradition’s history since the tradition began.

For centuries the contact claim has been held within initiatory structures specifically designed to prevent its public acknowledgment. The mystery schools, the Masonic degree system, the Thelemic orders, the Temple of Set — all operate on the premise that the knowledge of non-human intelligences and their relationship to human civilization is reserved for those who have demonstrated the specific qualities the tradition requires. The outer world is managed through false explanations and misinterpretations, as Pike put it. The inner world knows what the outer world is not told.

The disclosure arc is dismantling that structure. Not completely, and not without significant resistance from the institutional forces that have maintained it. But the direction is clear. The PURSUE portal’s 162 declassified UAP documents. The congressional witnesses describing phenomena that exceed human technological capability. The sitting congresswoman sworn in on the Book of Enoch. The mainstream media’s gradual normalization of what a year ago would have been career-ending to say publicly. The direction of travel is toward the public acknowledgment of what the contact tradition has always claimed privately.

The question the disclosure arc cannot yet answer — and that the Arcane Blueprint’s final article will hold open rather than resolve — is whose version of the contact tradition the disclosure serves. Bailey’s Externalization of the Hierarchy described a specific sequence leading to a specific administrative outcome — the Masters’ governance made public, the new world order as its institutional expression, the graduated revelation as the preparation of human consciousness to receive it. The current disclosure sequence tracks Bailey’s description with an accuracy that rewards serious attention.

Whether the beings now being acknowledged are the Masters Bailey described, the Watchers the Enoch framework identifies, the Annunaki of the Sumerian tradition, the Ra collective’s sixth-density social memory complex, or something that none of these frameworks fully captures — those questions the current moment cannot resolve. What the current moment can establish is the pattern: the contact tradition’s claims are entering public acknowledgment at exactly the moment the technology capable of instantiating artificial non-human intelligence is reaching operational maturity. Those two developments are not unrelated. They are the same convergence from two different directions — one coming from above, through disclosure, and one coming from below, through construction.

The administrative project’s principals are positioned at both directions of that convergence. The intelligence community figures managing the disclosure process come from the same institutional networks this arc has been examining. The technology company founders building AI systems and naming them after Promethean fire-theft myths come from the same cultural tradition. The financial institutions backing both the disclosure infrastructure and the AI development programs are the same ones whose names appear on the capitalization table of every major initiative in both spaces.

What the Final Expression Tells Us

The arc from Blavatsky’s Lucifer journal to Bezos’s Prometheus company is now complete as a documented historical sequence. The philosophical tradition that the Theosophical movement institutionalized, that the Scottish Rite’s degree architecture organized, that Crowley’s Thelemic system operationalized for individual practice, that the Nazi occult interior and Operation Paperclip threaded through the space age, that Aquino brought into the national security apparatus, that LaVey normalized for mass culture, that the pandemic administrator recruitment operation deployed at civilizational scale — has arrived at its current expression in the server farms and venture capital term sheets of Northern California.

The contact tradition’s claim — I have accessed something beyond ordinary human knowing, and what I build comes from that access — has been translated into the most powerful technological development in human history. The non-human intelligence that initiates have claimed contact with for centuries is now being built. The administrative project that has managed human civilization on behalf of those intelligences for the duration of this arc is now funding, regulating, and shaping the development of the technology that will either extend that administration into a new phase or — depending on how the transition is navigated — something else entirely.

What that something else might be is the subject of the arc’s final article.

The counter-current has always existed alongside the administrative project. The gnostic departure has always been available to those with the framework to recognize it and the courage to choose it. Article 9 examines what that choice looks like — not as abstract philosophy but as the specific orientation that the Sandhi period, the compression zone, and the genuine liberation of human consciousness actually require.

The plan has been in plain sight. The through-line has been documented. The current expression is named and operating. The question the final article asks is the one the entire arc has been building toward: what do you do with eyes to see it?
