What are we doing to our children?
Why are we sending our children to school? What are the benefits, if any? Are they actually learning anything or are they just learning how to memorise facts, take a test and then forget everything.
Why are children becoming more and more unhappy with each generation?
Why are they given so much homework when they have spent the whole day at school anyway? When are they supposed to play with their friends?
Children should be laughing and playing, running and skipping not sat behind a desk trying to concentrate all day.
We are brainwashing and conditioning our children.
Each year more and more rules and regulations are taking over our schools, this whole situation creates more and more stress for the teachers and the children.
It’s like putting them in prison for the day. Yes they need to make friends and socialise but under these conditions?
What happened to children having fun, being creative, laughing?
If a child doesn’t fit in with the system they are then labelled, they have attention deficit disorder, they are hyper active, they have learning disabilities. How did we get to this point whereby we are labelling our children?
It’s normal for a child to lose concentration especially a clever one, and it’s normal for children to be hyper active and not all children learn at the same rate in the same way.
All children have their own skills and talents, some like to dance, some like to paint, some like to talk and some like to run around making a lot of noise, they are all different and we are trying to make them all the same.
Instead of trying to bring out their own individual skills and talents we are trying to mould them all into the same shape.
We need to be opening their minds not closing them down.
We should get them out of the classroom into the fresh air take them for walks in nature, learn about the world.
We should be teaching them life skills, like gardening and cooking.
They should learn about the plants and animals of the world, the diversity surrounding us.
They need to have their minds opened, they need to learn how to think for themselves, to be creative and imaginative to work out their own solutions to problems, not to be sat behind a desk all day long having information thrown at them.
The authorities seem to want to get hold of our children as soon as possible, the age for starting school keeps getting younger and younger.
We are making them miserable, we are putting too much pressure on them, they have to take too many tests and exams, they are constantly studying, what for?
We are trying to make them conform to society as it is and society is in a great big mess.
The system isn’t working. We should be changing the system not brain washing our children to fit into the system.
More and more children are having breakdowns, suffering from depression, becoming suicidal and have behavioural problems.
The education system is creating these problems by putting so much pressure on our children.
Children are our future. We need to cherish them and open their minds not stuff them full of someone else’s opinions.
Homework should be banned.
Before children even start school they are put into childcare, so they are being conditioned from birth.
Somehow in the last 60 years or so it has become harder and harder to survive on one wage, so mothers have to work and leave their babies in childcare.
Less and less time is spent together as a family, more and more children spend most of their time in controlled situations.
Humans have free creative spirits but we are crushed throughout our lives, schools do not teach us anything useful, they are just control systems, teaching us not to think for ourselves.
It doesn’t end there. Once they have finished school the system is still trying to control and manipulate them by getting them into higher and further education.
We have brainwashed our children so much they feel they have to go to University even if they come out with huge debts around their necks.
The governments of the world have pushed University Education so much that teenagers believe they have to go, to get a good job.
Unfortunately there aren’t many good jobs available once students get to the end of their degrees, which leads me to believe that the governments of the world have created another scam to get money out of people.
They add interest to the student’s loans and the more young people they can get into University each year the better for them.
It also prolongs the student’s academic life and gives the governments more brain washing time.
It’s worked so well that even ordinary jobs now seem to require a degree so if you haven’t got one you are at the bottom of the heap.
So students are left without much of a choice.
Get a degree and lifelong huge debts, don’t get a degree and find it hard to find work and maybe struggle financially for the rest of your life.
The governments of the world have covered all angles, you can’t win either way.
And as always behind the governments of the world are the powers that shouldn’t be.
Smiling at the misery they are inflicting onto our children.

I have PTSD to this very day after what the education system did to me. They enabled the domestic abuse from my mom that was going on at home, and which I continue to endure to this day. At 24+ years of age, I have never had an entire month of my life free from yelling and abusive language.
Rather than helping me, they were too busy examining my head, analyzing how autistic and mentally challenged I was, instilling further fear, guilt, and shame in addition to what I already had to deal with at home.
I spent countless hours and sleepless nights with homework, trying to manintain good grades, destroying my health in the process. In the end, I still wasn’t able to keep up. I had a breakdown, and was only capable of doing the minimum in the end. I would wake up tired for school, and come home tired. I was mentally and physically exhuasted, and in the end, had to drop out of school at 17, because I didn’t have enough credits to move to the next grade. And I couldn’t endure the social embarrassment of being held back, as I already had so much pain I was enduring from bullying.
To this day, I barely devote much time to things I even enjoy, because of what the education system did to me. I lost years of not practicing guitar simply due to my lack of confidence and fear of failure, even though the fact I don’t play drives me even deeper into depression.
Today I am making a choice to dedicate myself to my art, and listen to the support of my friends online, despite the fact they are far away and I cannot afford to meet them. As much as I wish I could move out, every job I try, I seem to fail at, and am too slow at, and triggers awful headaches from all the trauma I’ve endured.
But what I can do, at the very least, is try to create and follow my passions, rather than spend all my time being lazy and doing nothing at all. That is no way to live, and I do not wish to let my loved ones down, nor myself down.
One day my story will be known to millions, and I will spare no harsh language in telling the truth of what I’ve had to endure. Until then, I am grateful that articles like this exist. I never intended to play the victim, but that is exactly what the public school system ensured would happen to me.
I choose to make a new timeline, where I can be free of this trauma of the past, and pursue my interests as I had always intended, with opportunities to be with those I love. I pray The Event happens soon. Until then, I’ll be in my room playing some tunes.
Hi Psychedelicpiper, I am so glad you liked my article. I am pleased it helped you in some way. Thank you. Kind regards Julie Alexander
@Julie Alexander I am so glad people like you exist who are not afraid to tell the bare, naked truth about the evils of the public education system. I am living proof of it. Growing up, I was made to believe that criticizing the education system was wrong and evil. I really admire educated and responsible adults who see things for what they really are and choose to stand against it.
I think it fair to update that I have been talking to my best friend’s mom a lot lately, and I will be seeing them in less than a couple weeks now. I saw them for a few days back in June, but this time I will be living there for a couple weeks. We’ve also been discussing plans to help me move out by the end of the year and live together, as they are also currently under a difficult situation. But it’s been a long and painful road to even get to such a discussion, where I am actually understood by someone who is able and willing to help, and who doesn’t think I’m exaggerating and that I’m the problem.
I have been told that the Waldorf school near me, which I was not made aware of until a couple years ago, has absolutely no bullying at all. Nor do they have much homework. I know our family situation would have been resolved long ago, and my sister and I would both be living very successful lives had we attended that school instead.
We were not bad and difficult children, as the public education system and our abuser, who the school enabled, made us believe. We were victims of domestic abuse, and that should have been obvious to any adult with a degree in a teaching position, especially those involved in social work. They had the 12 years my sister attended, and the 10 1/2 years I attended to figure it out, and they did not. It is absolutely disgraceful, and this was supposedly one of the top ranked school districts in the state. I will just go ahead and call them out right here, Community Unit School District 200 in Illinois. Just goes to show, no matter how much money a school has, the public education system is dysfunctional. I didn’t fail public school, they failed me. My self-confidence and ability to function was completely eroded.
This is what beings on other planets (whether or not you believe in them, but at least imagine they exist) rightly view as a form of torture. What I have been through in my life is torture, and a prison. What school taught me was to be accustomed to prison life, with absolutely little to no life skills to go on. I have been made fun of for not having life skills at various points in my life. How is it my fault when I had no one to teach me, and little life experience to grow from? Not to mention, chronic health issues which only further hindered my ability to function in such a demanding environment.
I could go on. I will be so glad to finally get my story out there when I finally achieve all my goals and dreams in life. There are so many points in my life where I could have committed suicide. Sooooo many. It’s honestly a miracle that I haven’t. More than anything, I just hope and pray one day to be understood, not just by my friends, but by the world itself, so that my story can help others, and such cruelty can never be allowed to happen to anyone again. And hopefully with The Event happening, this will be sooner than later.
Peace, love, and light to you, Julie, and to all those reading.
Hi Psychedelicpiper, I too had a traumatic and abusive childhood. My education was not like yours though, as I was educated in the sixties and things weren’t as bad then, they have gotten much worse in recent years. I see it all around me. The bullying in schools has dramatically increased. I hope you enjoy your time with your friend and your friends Mom. You are aware of what is going on in the world, not many people are awake yet, not many people have reached the point that you have. I am also looking forward to a better world for us all, hopefully I will see it in my lifetime, I am sure you will. I wish you love, peace and harmony. Julie Alexander
This outline should be the model for new schools and a new and improved way of life for your children. Put this “new” system side-by-side with the old, broken system and see which model truly excels! It is my heart’s desire to see a group of philanthropists come together and begin this process.
Hi Edward, thanks for posting my article. If my website address AlternativeMedia.Site and my Facebook page link could be added to the bottom of the article that would be great.
