The Ascension Connection Open Call

Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at a new time

Your Psychic Mind

Hosted by Rev. Kat Carroll with Guest Speaker Linda Martuch (Trained in Remote Viewing Techniques)

Have you ever known who was calling before answering the phone or have been thinking about someone only to have them show up at your door or meet them on the street?  This is just one example of natural intuition that we all have and can be developed further.

What are the benefits to improving your intuition?

    • Greater awareness of the world around you
    • More satisfying relationships
    • Increased Focus
    • Greater imagination and problem solving
    • Avoiding bad or dangerous situations
    • Sensing great opportunities and acting on them quicker

These skills are inherent in everyone and extend far beyond your 5 physical senses of sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste… The 6th senses allow you to perceive those same senses with your mind while the 7th allows you to explore anything in any time and space, past or present, such an in the practice of remote viewing or remote sensing.  Some may even achieve glimpses into the future like Nicola Tesla.

Join us this Wednesday to talk about your experiences and to play with a few techniques to sharpen your natural abilities, or prove to you that you have them!

Whether you are new to our group or a regular participant, we ask that you read and adhere to our guidelines.

  1. To prevent background noise, please mute your mic upon entering the call.   Please keep your mic muted until it’s your turn to speak.  If able, please have your video on.
  1. If you have a concern or find yourself emotionally triggered by something said, please type a note in the chat box and a volunteer will help you by opening a breakout room. This creates a safe space for you and a volunteer to talk privately.
  1. Questions/comments about the topic of discussion are best spoken, rather than placed in the chat, as it can be distracting for guest speakers. Please take notes so you can ask your questions after the speaker ends their presentation.  When verbalized, everyone benefits!
  1. If you would like to contribute to the discussionplease raise your hand or use zoom’s Raise Hand button and wait to be acknowledged. If your hand has been up and missed more than twice by the host, please mention this in the chat and a volunteer will help.  Larger groups of people are harder to watch as they spread over more than one window.  The raise hand button moves you into a waiting line that is easy for the host to see.  (See the zoom tutorial below.)
  1. Limit your comments/shares to about 2 to 3 minutesso everybody has an opportunity to contribute to the discussion.  Mute your mic when finished speaking and lower your hand in the reaction tool bar.
  2. Be respectful in your communications: Do not use foul language as it brings down the group vibration.  Do not interrupt others who are speaking.  Use the zoom reaction buttons to raise your hand,  react to a comment with an emoji  or to vote.  Please, do not speak until you are called, and do not speak over others who have been acknowledged to speak ahead of you.

New to Zoom?  Here’s a helpful zoom tutorial.

  1. Recording and your Privacy: Prepare for Change strives to protect the privacy and security of all participants in our zoom calls.  Our conversations are normally not recorded.  However, from time to time, we may have a guest speaker or a topic that we wish to record and post on the site for the benefit of our members.  We will let you know in advance of such an event.  If you do not wish to be on camera during the recording, simply turn off your video.  You also have the option to change your name as it appears on screen or to use your first name only.

This call will not be recorded.

Rev. Kat Carroll
I've been interested in all things related to metaphysics, parapsychology, spirituality and anything related to space since childhood. I'm the kid who used to let the Jehova Witness and Mormans into the house so I could ask a million questions. I've always wanted to be of service and ended up working as an EMT and later in law enforcement. A family job transfer lead me to Washington State for 5 years where I went back to studying spiritual phenomenon and meeting some fascinating people. I've had several initiations, was taught energy healing and became certified in Reiki III over the final 3 years. I had a larger awakening and understanding of how it Reiki worked, remote sensing and more after returning to CA in 2001. I love researching and now writing and being a spokesperson for benevolent contact with NHIB through the practice of meditation. I experienced a spontaneous healing and not long after the "quickening" of 12/21/2012, began having more paranormal experiences, including seeing the UFOs, and orbs that fly over at night. I'm also a volunteer /Admin for ETLetsTalk and love teaching others how to make that connection that I know will one day lead us out of the darkness and into a brighter future.

  1. For some reason, I'm not a fan of making efforts to learn remote viewing and such techniques. It's possible that I've got a limited understanding of that practice, for I've never tried it by choice. Here are some of my thoughts, and please, they're mine only, not meant as critique or discouragement.

To me, knowingness is at its best when no techniques are involved, but rather a natural ability that is innate, due to grounding, centeredness and neutrality of observation/perception.

Not so much an effort with a thought-construct, more a matter of awareness and the use of common sense. Efforts of one's will are easily in friendship with one's ego, especially in this time of virtual "how to ….." courses and "one size fits all" seminars.

Many a participant joins just for entertainment, with hardly any commitment, eager to consume a spiritual hamburger at the 7th Heaven's drive-in.

I've seen this happen too often, even in real life events with groups. That's why I never join virtual gatherings with teachings of psychic/spiritual techniques.

To me, the future is created by my ability to be present and aware, in the moment plus a commitment.

More a sense of direction, in a flow of becoming, and less an outcome fixed in time, not yet materialised, and therefore easily calling forth disappointment, and a sense of failing with the risk of being in control too much.

To me, manifestation is never linear and 1-dimensional, as in the world of zeroes and ones, or in making sums.
Energetic processes are in perpetual motion always, that's why diversity is the glory of creation, see?

It allows for experiences in limitless numbers, in our human juggling with the labels "good" and "bad" on planet Earth, triggering a positive or negative self-image. How to step out of that condition is a struggle for many of us, including myself. It's where neutral observation steps in with an awareness even, of emotional turmoil. As a witness, and experiencer, both at the same time.

Vibrational mismatches, and energetic attachments alias programs alien to the true nature of a person, plus the affinity within one's heart for oneself, all this plays a significant role in how manifestation shows up, as I see it.

In other words, as a question: "How is it, the amount of havingness within ourselves, that allows us to receive what's being offered to us?"
