From thegalacticfederation.com:
A person’s mind is the space in which thoughts move.
Have you ever found yourself stuck in negative, repetitive thought patterns? If so, it’s time to start practicing mindfulness. Regular practice of mindfulness is a non-negotiable if you want to live a positive, fulfilled life.
Not only do we forget to live in the moment, but we also forget that our mind is never truly unoccupied. There are always thoughts, feelings, and emotions swirling around us, but that doesn’t mean they have a hold on us.
The mind is a great deal of thinking, doing, and saying. It is always occupied with the past and the future, without any reference to what is here and now. And there isn’t a moment in time in which the mind is not engaged.
Meditation is the process of moving your mind with full awareness and calmness.
Meditation helps us become more conscious of our own minds so that we can live more harmoniously with the Universe and within ourselves.
The first step is learning how to relax the body, which means learning how to let go of control so that your body does not fight relaxation.
Once you have learned to relax your body, then you can learn to relax your mind. This means learning how to allow thoughts and emotions to flow through you without reacting.
Instead of fighting against the thoughts that come into your mind and cause you discomfort, try letting them pass by like clouds in the sky that do not affect you at all!
With mindfulness, you don’t have to decide on your own if you’re happy or not. You just are, and you can be your most authentic self at that moment.
Mindfulness is the ability to be aware of what’s going on in your mind and body at any given moment. Mindfulness is a way of living that is based on paying attention to what is happening in the present moment with an open, non-judging mind.
Mindfulness is a state of focus in which you are fully aware of what you are doing, thinking, and feeling at the present moment. You can use this awareness to calm your mind and body, help you make better decisions, and live a more fulfilling life.
It’s about paying attention, being present, and not allowing thoughts to distract you from what’s happening right now.
When mindfulness is practiced regularly, it can help you:
• Focus on the present moment.
• Breathe more deeply.
• Relax your body and mind.
• Feel neither anxious nor stressed.
Mindfulness is a practice. It’s not something you do once and then forget about once and then forget about. The more you practice mindfulness, the easier it becomes to be mindful every day.
The next time you’re sitting quietly, try to focus on your breath rather than thinking about anything else. Try to remember what it feels like to simply sit still and let your body move naturally.
Your breathing will slow down and deepen as a result of this mindful relaxation exercise, but don’t worry if it doesn’t happen right away. Just keep doing whatever feels natural for you until you get used to the idea of being mindful without having any particular goal or intention in mind (like achieving a certain level of concentration).
You have to move slowly; go step by step. When you are not in a hurry, when you have plenty of time, when there is no pressure on you, suddenly you become aware of who you are—and it is mind-blowing!
Life is really like this. We are born into this world, and we die here. So it is a kind of journey to be aware of your steps. You have to deliberately make an effort in order to be more mindful because we know that the mind is constantly drifting off.
But if you are already at that point where you are ready to take your first step on the path, then it means there is some interest in it. There is some openness towards it; something inside is already longing for silence, for awareness.
Mindfulness is one of the most effective ways to relax, reduce stress, and mitigate anxiety and depression. If you haven’t tried meditation yet, then you should start today seriously. It really isn’t that difficult to pick up, and it can make a big difference in your mental health.
It simply does not make sense to ignore the most important part of your mind (and body). So, find a comfortable position and dedicate at least 20 minutes of your day to this practice. You will notice a marked improvement in all areas of your life.
It’s all about the present moment. Grab some time to be still and quiet with yourself. Focus on where you are and what you are doing. Stop comparing yourself to others and just be!
When your mind is silent, something else takes over. Let us explore the inner world of silence, a place we have all visited at one time or another.
The mind is a garden, a house, and an enclosure. The mind is like a cage that has to be cleaned every day. Mindfulness is that perfect state of being where the mind is at peace, calm, and alert. You can get lost in the moment, or you can be present.
Be present in your life and live it to the fullest.
We love you dearly.
